Story
Meet Bimbi – Your Loyal, Lovable Companion in the Making   Bimbi is a stunning, 3-year-old spayed beauty weighing in at around 40 pounds. With her regal looks and soulful eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes—but it’s her heart that really makes her shine.   Bimbi has known what it means to be let down, having spent much of her life confined to a crate. Despite this, she got along well with the small dogs in her previous home and remained the friendly, affectionate girl she was born to be. Sadly, when her family fell on hard times, Bimbi was surrendered, and now she’s waiting for her true forever home.   She absolutely loves meeting new people and soaks up attention like sunshine. She adores hugs, belly rubs, kisses, and gentle brushing with a soft brush—she’ll even close her eyes in bliss. Her favorite spot? Anywhere you are.   While Bimbi might not know a ton of commands just yet, she’s eager to learn and food-motivated (she mastered “sit” in record time with a few treats!). She enjoys playing with toys and balls—fetch is a favorite, even if she doesn’t always return the ball right away. Treat-based games are another great way to bond with her and keep her busy.   She’s a big fan of cozy dog beds and fluffy blankets, though when bored, she may chew on them a bit—so she’ll thrive with love, structure, and plenty of companionship. Her happiest moments? Going for car rides with her people. It’s been a while since she’s gotten to feel the wind in her fur, and she misses it deeply.  Bimbi is ready to trade her kennel days for couch cuddles, backyard exploring, movie nights, and being your loyal shadow. She doesn’t think cats make good roommates, so a cat-free home is a must.   If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, who’s ready to learn, ready to play, and even more ready to belong—Bimbi is your girl. Come meet her. She’s been waiting for you.   Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 26, 2025, 11:59 pm

Story
Hunter is a gentle 60-pound Pitbull mix with a heart of gold. This strong boy, about a year old, was found running loose on the back roads of Tennessee, but despite his tough start, he's in great shape with a silky black coat. While no one has come forward to claim him, Hunter is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own! Hunter enjoys his daily walks and is working on not pulling on the leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 He’s curious, playful, and loves other dogs! He’s been sharing a pen with a Boxer, though we feed him separately to avoid any food aggression. Hunter does the cutest little dance when it’s time for his meals or walks—it’s sure to put a smile on your face! While he hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, Hunter did have a run-in with a neighbor’s chicken , so he might be best suited to a home without small livestock. Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Hunter find their forever homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Are you ready to give this playful boy a chance at a new beginning? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 30, 2025, 9:41 pm

Story
Meet Zeus – Waiting for His Second Chance Zeus is a 1 ½ to 2-year-old Bully mix who has already been through so much in his short life. He and his sister, Foxy, lost their home when their family could no longer care for them. They entered the local shelter last November and Zeus spent months waiting behind kennel bars before coming into Lucky Paws Doghouse on June 11th. Despite everything, Zeus is still the sweetest boy. -Gets along with other dogs -Walks nicely on a leash -Loves yard time and running around to play -Friendly, affectionate, and gentle -He and his sister were kenneled together at one point and got into it over food. This could have occurred just from being in a high-stress environment. So, we would recommend feeding him separately from another dog in home just in case. We haven't seen this issue with any other dogs since! Sadly, Zeus has also tested heartworm positive — but this isn’t the end of his story. He is currently on slow-kill treatment. Zeus deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home. He’s been waiting long enough — could you be the one to finally give him that chance? -Video of Zeus: https://youtube.com/shorts/zFL8zCJZOUM Zeus is neutered, vaccinated (DHLPP 9-in-1, Rabies, Bordetella), wormed, on monthly flea/tick prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above and transport cost. Story
It's time for Moochi to find her forever Meet Moochi — or as she’s affectionately known, Smoochy, Smoochi Moochi, Mooch the Pooch, Moo, Moo Cow, and her favorite… Baby Dog At around 8–9 months old, Moochi is ALL love. This girl even stops at her neighbor’s super scary Halloween decorations every day — wagging her tail and patiently waiting for pets from the creepy human statues Like any puppy, Moochi gets bursts of energy and a few zoomies here and there, but for the most part, she’s a chill little soul. She’s happy to chew on a bone, lounge beside you, and nuzzle her face right into you for snuggles. (We don’t call her Smoochi for nothing — she’s a big fan of kisses too! ) Moochi is still working on becoming fully housebroken. She does great with frequent trips outside and a consistent schedule. She may have an occasional crate accident during the workday, but she sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. This sweet girl has been through a lot in her short life and continues to make progress every day. She had good dog meets at the shelter, has been spayed, and we’ll continue to help her with socialization. Moochi hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but she adores kids and is the highlight of everyone’s morning at the bus stop &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Moochi would make a wonderful addition to any family. She’s the sweetest “baby dog” with so much love to give and just wants a cozy place — and person — to call her own. Story
Meet Sky – Our Sweet Explorer!  Currently with Above The Standard Dog Training in Florida Sometimes, there are dogs we adore but just can't quite figure out — and that's when it's time to turn to the pros. Sky is one of those pups. A few weeks ago, we sent this beautiful 2-year-old girl to training to get a professional evaluation and a deeper understanding of what she needs to thrive. And it’s paying off in a big way! Not only is Sky having an absolute blast in training, but she’s also gaining some much-needed weight and starting to really come into her own. With her sleek black coat, curious spirit, and growing confidence, she’s blossoming into the dog we always knew she could be. &#226&#156&#133 Dog Friendly? Absolutely! Sky loves other dogs. She’s been great with males, females, older and younger pups alike. She enjoys playing and exploring with her doggy friends, and we think she’d really benefit from a confident canine companion in her future home.  Kids? We’re updating her bio here — we now think older, calmer kids would be a better match. Sky can be a little nervous meeting new people, and a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle will help her continue to grow.  Public outings & the car? She’s calm, well-behaved, and fairly neutral. Her obedience training is coming along beautifully — she’s food-motivated and loves to learn.  Energy Level: Medium. She enjoys the outdoors, loves to run and explore, and we think she’ll be a lake-loving girl once she gets the chance!  Crate Training & Potty Habits: Sky has had a few crate accidents, but nothing consistent. She sometimes holds her potty for long stretches (even after a good walk), so she's a bit quirky there, but she’s capable of holding it just fine.  Separation Anxiety: Sky would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for long stretches (8–10 hours a day). She’s attached to her people and finds comfort in being near them. She’s sweet, sensitive, goofy, and full of potential — and she’s ready to find her person. Could that be you?
