You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. VANILLA was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024. VANILLA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of 22 December 2023 and in April 2024 weighed of 12 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. This sweet girl is still a baby and so we are looking for families who understand how much work puppies are, who are able to ensure he gets all the socialization he needs, the training, routine and structure to give him the right start to his wonderful life ahead of him. Vanilla is a loving, affectionate, playful, fun puppy bursting with energy and playing with her puppy kennel mates who are either playing with their toys, chasing each other around, puppy-wrestling or of course having a puppy pile of snuggles. Vanilla is a confident pup and enjoys cuddles. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue YouTube channel and photo albums on our Facebook page to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. Vanilla is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a reduced adoption fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - We do not have cats in the kennels and are not able to say how our dogs are with cats.
