Two-year-old Tito is healthy, potty trained, walks well on leash, and loves learning new tricks. Long hikes on the weekend get Tito’s energy out, and he spends his weekdays napping on blankets near his foster mom. Tito is easy-and naturally quiet. He rarely barks, but makes piggy snorts and purrs throughout the day. (We think he’s 1/3 dog, 1/3 cat, and 1/3 pig!) Tito was shy when he arrived at the shelter, but warmed up with treats and attention. He bonds tightly to any gentle person who shows him patience and love. Once you’re his person, sweet Tito enjoys giving kisses, getting couch cuddles, and making you laugh with silly bum-wiggles! Tito loves other dogs, and easily made friends in shelter playgroups. He will be a fantastic brother for another dog. Tito needs a dog-savvy home, ideally with a yard so Tito can roll around on the grass. (As we said - part pig.) We recommend a home without small children; Tito seems to like kids, but can be a bowling ball when he gets the zoomies. He needs a patient family that commits to positive training methods - this gentle boy needs spoiling, not discipline! He`s befriended some dogs at the Shelter and is energetic and playful with dogs he`s met. He hung out in a foster home for a period and the foster reports the following: `Terrence is amazing and I love him so much!! He’s the best snuggle bug, loves to play with his foster sister, rides so well in the car and already knows sit, down, and is getting so good at loose leash walking. Terrence is amazing in every way and will thrive in a home without kitties. He’s one of the best dogs I’ve ever met!` What this little guy lacks in height, he makes up for in charm and sociability!

Meet Sweet Pea the staffie! This little peanut of a sweetheart came to the Shelter after a good Samaritan had her in their care for about 1.5 months but was unable to continue caring for long term. In the home, Sweet Pea was an indoor dog that would lay on her dog bed on the floor. She had been around two cats in the home and did well. She liked to go for walks and went on them daily. She was noted to be house trained although she would do a little submissive urination when she was excited. Sweet Pea enjoys car rides and likes to play with toys. In this home, she was also around a toddler. When she would meet “strangers”, she was friendly. Sweet Pea does have some skin related medical concerns that will likely be something she will need further treatment for in her adoptive home. Adopters will need to work closely with a vet to continue her skin treatment care and plan for more frequent vet visits as they get her on a regimen that keeps her skin a little more happy. Our sweet and adorable Bruno Bear almost didn't make it out of the shelter alive as he was scheduled to be euthanized for "aggressive behavior." We are STILL reeling over this fact. He is so beyond gentle and sweet, and (as you can see from his pics) all he wants is love and affection. Within hours of being saved from death row, he was rolling in the backyard grass at his foster home, clearly taking it all in that he had just been saved. He loves his foster sister Mochi, cheese, and going for walks. As he is only around 3 years old with no training, we are working on his leash pulling and also not jumping up when he gets too excited. He is working with a trainer weekly and is getting better every single day. He has been an excellent house guest in every way! We can't wait to find Bruno's forever home and family, this guy absolutely deserves to find his "happily ever after." Could it be with you?
