Cuteness Alert!!! Are you looking for an energetic, eager to please, handsome staffie-boy-blend who's signature look is the perfect eyeliner morning, noon and night?! He claims its "natural". First hist stats: -2.5 yrs old -Neutered male -Large, ~75 lbs -Energy level - active, mashed-potato after exercise -Healthy, up-to-date on vax, microchipped And a few inside-scoops: -When excited Taz emits tiny, kitten-like squeals - if you're wondering where that noise could possibly be coming from, its coming from all 75 lbs of him, so stop looking for the kitten -He can rock winter sweaters like no other, handsome-est in red -On solitary hikes he will stay close by your side and has excellent recall -Goofy like no other, he will turn up the laugh-factor in the home so get ready to show the doldrums to the door! Taz is good with most dogs (if you have any we'll make sure); and “wuvs his hoomans”. Children in the home should be 10+ since little humans take time, dogs take time and few families have time for both. Big-dog-savy kids could be an exception as we believe Taz was raised with kids. We have no information about our feline friends thus to be respectful of everyone's time, do not suggest them. If you've been thinking about something outside of yourself to pour love and care into, Taz is standing by to return it 10-fold. That's just how he rolls.

Story
Meet Enzo - our big dog in a spunky 40 lb package! We'll start with his current nicknames: Mr. Spunk, Lil Man, and Mr. Adorbs. Tipping the scales at 40 lbs (small by PACC standards) Enzo is young (coming up on 1 yr), affectionate, and very curious about the world (seriously—nothing escapes his investigative sniffer). Enzo loves being close to his people and is happiest when sharing cuddles, soaking up attention, or heading out on a new adventure. Enzo is smart, eager to please, and follows human guidance well. He loves to rough and tumble with big dogs so if you have any of those, he'd be a built-in-exerciser. Enzo is treat-motivated, thus responds well to the yummies. He is a social butterfly who gets along with most dogs (can be a little too much for our small/soft/shy types) and can absolutely keep up with the big dogs during playtime. Running, wrestling, zoomies, exploring—if it sounds fun, count Enzo in. He plays hard, naps well, and appreciates cuddles in between. With the perfect mix of energy, intelligence, and affection, Enzo would thrive in an active home excited for a loyal companion and adventure buddy, with a built-in cuteness factor. His classic head-tilt at new sounds is priceless and will fill up your phone quick! Enzo's stats so you have them handy: ~1 yr old, 40 lb, neutered male, healthy, microchipped and up to date on vax. Likely some big dog, small dog type of blend (we're still mulling over the $80 DNA test decision). Children in the home should be 10+ because little humans take time, dogs take time and few families these days have time and energy for both. While he has not been introduced to cats and looks at them fondly from afar, to be respectful of everyone's time we recommend a feline free home. If Enzo sounds like a good fit with your situation: active home, looking to up the cuteness-factor, children 10+, feline-free - fill out the adoption application below and we will be in touch once it's received! Story
BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG Monroe is just 1 year old… a baby who should be learning about love, play, and safety — not losing her home and facing an uncertain future. This 43-pound, petite, squishy little girl was owner-surrendered on 11/17/25. She came in confused, but still so full of love for every person who approaches her. Monroe is friendly with all people, accepting of handling, takes treats gently, and even sits when asked. She’s wiggly, playful, and has that adorable mini-Sharpei look that makes your heart melt Her former home reported she does not do well with other dogs, and had multiple incidents with the dogs she lived with. Because of this, Monroe may need to be the ONLY dog in her next home — something many rescues struggle to placeBut should this sweet, loving baby lose her life because she doesn’t want to share her home with o She’s unpredictable with dogs, but with people? She is a total loveA dog who leans in for affection. A dog who wants connection. A dog who needs structure, training and stability At the shelter, she’s been energetic, happy, and easy to handle. She goes in and out of the kennel with no issues, accepts full handling, and lights up for attention. Dog tests are pending, but she’s showing staff what a GOOD girl she is with humans. Monroe deserves a real chance — a safe place to be an only dog, a foster willing to help her decompress, a rescue who sees the sweet young soul behind the behavior notes. ##2608295##

Story
BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL Adoptions@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG Jack Sparrow is a strong, confident, and energetic dog who thrives with patient, experienced handlers. While he shows high stress and reactivity in the kennel, he is fully tolerant of handling once outside the kennel and enjoys attention from his volunteer friends. On leash, he walks well, wags his tail, and is able to focus when given space from other dogs. Jack is highly responsive to structure and benefits from thoughtful distance management around other dogs. He would do best as the only dog in the household with an adopter who understands dog reactivity, has experience with strong, energetic dogs, and can provide consistent guidance, training, and enrichment. With the right home, Jack has the potential to become a loyal and engaging companion. Please consider being the one to give Jack the fresh start he deserves. Jack is 1.5 years old and 80 pounds. ##2642001##

Story
MEET BEANS!   Meet Beans, a big, goofy, affectionate boy who absolutely loves his people! Beans was saved from euthanasia in Texas and is now under the care of BAMM Rescue while he waits for the right forever family to find him.   Beans is approximately 5 years old, 65 pounds, and an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is neutered and has completed a board-and-train obedience program. This handsome guy already has an impressive list of skills: he is house trained, doggy-door trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash.   Beans is an active guy!   Beans has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active person or family. He loves playing fetch, getting exercise, and—believe it or not—running on both dog and human treadmills! We think he could be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys running, exercising, or simply spending lots of time being active with their dog.   When the activity is over, Beans is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves his people. He can get excited when his favorite humans come around, and sometimes his enthusiasm gets the better of him! Typically however, he is fairly mellow!   ‍‍‍ Kids 10+ would be a great fit.   Beans is phenomenal with people and could do very well in a home with children 10 years of age or older. His age recommendation isn't because of aggression—Beans simply doesn't always realize that he's a 65-pound dog! When he gets excited, he could accidentally bump into or knock over a younger child.   Beans would be happiest as your one-and-only pet.   Beans has demonstrated that he can successfully coexist with other dogs, particularly females. However, his history hasn't always been easy. His previous owners experienced periods of being unhoused, and Beans has been attacked by other dogs in the past. There have subsequently been situations in which Beans has reacted when he perceived that another dog was challenging or threatening him.   Because we want Beans—and his future family—to be successful for the rest of his life, we are looking for a home where Beans can be the only dog. We should not he is not reactive to other dogs in public unless that dog is reactive.    Absolutely no cats or small animals.   Beans is not an appropriate match for a home with cats or other small animals.   Beans' ideal home:   • Active person, couple, or family • Children approximately 10+ • No other dogs • No cats or small animals • Someone who enjoys exercise, running, fetch, and spending time with their dog • A family ready for a goofy, enthusiastic, affectionate companion who will be thrilled every single time they walk through the door   Beans has already survived circumstances that no dog should have to experience. Now he's looking for something much simpler: a safe, stable home, plenty of exercise, and people of his own to love.   If you're looking for an active best friend with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, Beans may be your guy. ##2483096##
