Story
Jayce has had a rough start, but you would not know it when you meet him. He lived his life on a chain, he almost lost his life after being attacked by another dog which is when he came into our care. Jayce went from living on a chain, to a kennel for a few months and now he has freedom and he LOVES it!! He enjoys finding a cool place to rest, he ABSOLUTELY loves toys! He is often found with a toy in his mouth, he tosses them and entertains himself. He enjoys a leisurely walk and then is ready for more relaxing. Jayce may seem intimidating with his deep bass bark, but he will wag his tail along with his whole body just as quickly once he sees you. He is an enthusiastic and affectionate boy. Jayce gets along well with female dogs (as long as they aren't overly dominant). He is a pretty laid back guy that is just so happy to be in the moment. He could stand to learn not to jump when excited but otherwise he is a perfect gentleman. Jayce has been waiting to go home for 8 months for someone to pick him. He is a solid guy, weighing around 60 lbs. His ideal family would be one without small children as he has not had the opportunity to meet them. **************PLEASE READ THIS FOR NEXT STEPS**************** COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Meet Dominic!  Dominic is not a Spotty Dog.  Contact information for adoption is below. Dominic is an 11-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold. He recently lost his home when his former owner left him behind, and he’s now looking for a new family to love him.  Despite being deaf, Dominic is a wonderful, easygoing companion. He’s very friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs. He’s been staying temporarily with a family, but sadly they can’t keep him long-term. Dominic is already neutered, microchipped, fully vetted, and heartworm negative. He’s truly a great dog who deserves a safe and loving forever home to spend his golden years. If you or someone you know could open your heart and home to Dominic, please reach out. He’s ready to give all the love he has left. Contact +1 (860) 729-6056 or marijsw10@gmail.com.  Located in Vernon, CT. **NOTE: Dominic’s foster mom has graciously sponsored his adoption donation fee.  ##2600649##

Story
There's nothing that I love more than a big dog with a gentle soul. Bill Nye has that special spark in his golden brown eyes that instantly draw you in making every moment with him feel unique. He's the kind of dog that wins you over instantly with his loyalty, gentle nature, and loving spirit. Whether he's showing off his funny antics, curling up for some snuggles, or gazing up at you with those soulful eyes, you'll quickly see he's in a league of his own. He will be that dog that you will never be able to forget. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet boy: https://youtu.be/KOjA3yVb9IU?si=R3ocAg8hKYxrkmrt Bill Nye is believed to be a pittie/lab mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 69 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. When Bill greets new people, he is more on the shy side but it does not take long for him to be leaning into you for affection and slowing inching his way into your lap. That's why we like to call him a distinguished gentleman because of the way he shows his affection with gentle nudges and thoughtful closeness. He's never over the top either or love bombing you with you kisses. He gives you just enough and will gladly offer more if you ask. It's the perfect mix. You'll see in his video how happy and excited he gets with the people the he loves. His inner puppy comes out and he turns into the happiest wiggliest guy. Just image coming home to that type of greeting every time you walk through the door. This boy sure does know how to make you feel special and like the most important person in the world. Bill is dog friendly and did great meeting all of the dogs we introduced him too. His gentle natured personality even shows it self when meeting new dogs. He'll do a little sniff, say hello and then he's off doing his own thing, finding a spot to lay in the grass and bask in the sun, or exploring all the smells. Bill has met a handful of dogs, all with different personalities and has shown us that he has a love for those confident lady friends. He is not instantly playful with other dogs, just like with people, he likes to get to know his friends first before showing his playful side. For the most part, he gives off more of the laid back, distinguished gentleman, hang back and watch type vibes around other dogs. He is completely unbothered when other dogs are playing around him having a good time and is even tolerant when the dogs accidentally bump into him during a play session. He just stands there and has this look of, "oh sorry friend, I didn't realize I was in your way." LOL that really is the best way to describe him, a chill laid back gentleman. When he does play, he loves to play chase and run as fast as he can in circles around the yard with his best friend chasing him. It's a true joy to watch. In a home, Bill would be best placed with a lady furry friend that gives him some time to warm up, enjoys the company of other dogs, and appreciates a game or two of tag you're it. He would also do great as your one and only too if you don't have other dogs. He does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable or to fulfill his energy needs. He would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe, porch sit with you, and just enjoy the fresh air. He is a mellow guy and more of a Netflix and chill, movie marathon, dinner at home date night type of buddy. He'll gladly go on a leisurely walk through the neighborhood or hangout with you in the back yard while you garden. It doesn't take much for him to make him happy, he's a laid back home body looking for a cozy bed to sleep on and a family to love him. Bill is very gentle when taking treats, walks like a true gent on leash, is crate trained and potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. We have not seen Bill with kids just yet and we can certainly arrange that for you. Based off what we know about him so far, we believe he would do best with older kids due to their calm natures as well. We are willing to test Bill Nye with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Talk about a happy dog! That is the very first thing I thought when I first met Nate Smiles. He really is so happy all the time and always has that big pittie smile plastered all over his face. His happiness radiates like the sun and you'll instantly be in a happier mood with Nate by your side. Not only is his personality just the best, but he's also incredibly handsome!! From his beautiful white coat, to his forrest green eyes, and my personal favorite...his floppy ears! There truly is so much to love about Nate Smiles. Watch his video and fall in love with this happy guy: https://youtu.be/ASycTTx9cpk?si=524NWC2rq4gc4TmL Nate Smiles is a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 50lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Nate is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him too. He's the type that's just happy to be there and included. He has a gentle play style that is more bouncy, romping along side his doggy friends, mixed in with the occasional wrestling match. He is respectful around dogs that don't want to play and he is completely happy and content chilling outside and enjoying the fresh air together or relaxing inside on their dog beds. He knows when to take play breaks and is content either way. Making him a great dog to have if you don't have other animals. Nate is so dog friendly that he attends a playgroup camp with up to 12 dogs playing together. He doesn't need the company of another dog to keep him company nor does he need another dog to help him feel comfortable. He is a confident and happy guy all on his own and would be happy to be the center of your attention. He would also be best in a home with no kitty friends! Nate is more than his stellar good looks and his happy personality, he's super smart too! He knows how to sit and will immediately sit on command even without a treat and will hold that position with ease. It's quite impressive how patient he is especially if a treat is involved. He loves all the treat and will do anything for a treat. He also has shown us that she is crate trained and potty trained as well. Nate is very people oriented, eager to please, and loves a good tasty treat. All the fundamentals needs to help make any additional training with his you want to do that much more enjoyable for you both. He really impressed me by how quickly he responded to every command I gave to him. Nate would love to go to a semi active family in a home with a backyard. He would be a great companion to take with you on walks throughout the neighborhood, take a trip to the beach, play fetch in the backyard, or explore those trails you have saved on the map. He loves booty scratches and ear scratches. You'll really be his bestie when you find his favorite spot is right behind his ear. At the end of the day, this happy guy just wants to be with his person(s). We are willing to test Nate Smiles with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. Story
One thing you need to know about Blinky Baby is that she is a total love bug and snuggly queen. Oh my goodness y’all does this girl love all the affection. Any affection is good affection in her eyes. She loves belly rubs, booty scratches, and leans her whole body into you for affection. But that’s not my favorite thing about her! It’s just the tip of the iceberg. Hands down my absolute FAVORITE thing about Blinky is how amazing she is around my 15 month old son. When I say this sweet lady was born to be a family dog, she really was. Watch her video and see all the other ways Blinky Baby is the girl for you and why she’s so special: https://youtu.be/VhkNAw6PZIU?si=cqmn6eTiKSr_wO_G Blinky Baby is a pittie mix approximately 6 years old and currently weighs 59 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee age or breed. Blinky is in a foster home with 5 other dogs ranging from 13 to 60 pounds. She loves her foster human siblings too and grandma! Blinky is crated all day while her foster is at work and snoozes on the couch at night with the pack. One of my favorite things about Blinky Baby is how happy she is all the time! You make a quick, silly freeze - strike a pose like you’re mid dance or about to sneak attack and she catches on instantly. Her eyes light up, her tail starts to wag, body starts to wiggle, and then suddenly she burts into the cutest little mini zoomies. Like that inner puppy has just been activated by your goofball freeze tag magic . It’s the ultimate “ready…set…GO!” in dog language. As mentioned previously, Blinky is wonderful around kids! She has been around kids as young as 15 months old and she was so incredibly gentle around him. Even when he was walking around with his little snacks. She never tried to take any of his snacks out of his hand, not even after I had given her some. Which was so impressive in my opinion. She never once knocked him over and was completely comfortable with the crying, random unexpected movement, grabbing hands, all of it. Blinky just loved being there apart of it. Blinky is very dog friendly and has been in play groups with dogs all with varying temperaments, personalities, and sizes (even as small as 15lbs). She is more people orientated than anything, not overly playful with other dog, and gets along great every dog. She's the perfect addition that will blend in beautifully wherever she goes. When she does play, it's short and sweet just like her. Blinky is the type that is just happy to be included. She's always the first to greet a new dog into the yard (she's the happiest little greeter) and then she's off doing her own thing again. Ultimately, she's just happy to be there and her favorite spot to be is off getting booty scratches. In a home, Blinky would be best with a dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and up for maybe a light play session or two (nothing crazy). She would also do great as your one and only too if you don't have other dogs. She does not need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable with other dogs or to fulfill her energy needs. She is a loving gal all on her own and she will be just as fulfilled with a walk around the neighborhood or mini zoom sash in the backyard. Everyone knows that saying, "age is just a number," well that cannot be anymore true with Blinky. As stated above, we estimate her age to be around 6 years old and she doesn't act like a little old lady one bit. Yes, she is pretty laid back for the most part, I would say 60% of the time but she still finds so much joy in all the things. Blinky would love to go exploring through nature trails with you, take a trip to the beach, learn new tricks, and do all the things with you. At the end of the day, Blinky will gladly snuggle up with you on the couch. She also does not need exercise or an adventure for her to want to cuddle and be snuggly either, she comes by her snuggly wanna be lap dog nature honestly. So if you want to have a lazy day and stay home watching movies all day or if the weather doesn't permit for outdoor time, she's happy to have a lazy day with you. Blinky not only has the potential to be your next little adventure buddy but she's super smart too and loves treats! She already knows some commands such as sit and walks like an angel on leash. She is crate and potty trained, has great house manners, and from what we have seen she has always been quite in her kennel. Blinky would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, get her cute little mini zoomies, and soak in the sun during those nice summer days. If you're someone that works from home, she would be a great work from home buddy. She will absolutely ask for affection every now and then and may even want to snuggle on the couch with you while you answer emails as well. Blinky is great company to have around to matter what you're doing if we're being honest. Questions? Story
Y'all....boys like these are kryptonite! The secret sauce that makes ever better. The key to your heart. The heart stealer you can't resist. His name is Danny Zuko and he is an absolute DREAM! For starters, look at those eyes! He has the type of eyes that people wish they had. You can't help by be captivated by them. Also, he has a permanent puppy face and the softest most unique coat I've ever seen. When it comes to appearance, everything about Danny is 10/10. Looks can only get you so far in life as we all know. Luckily for Danny, he doesn't have to worry about that because he has an even better personality!! He is kid friendly, dog friendly, affectionate, and sweeter than a snicker. Watch his video and fall in love with this handsome hunk: https://youtu.be/-jeilHvN9pI?si=CxPRgH4R_GTeDNRY Danny Zuko is a pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 67 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Danny is dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He loves dogs who love to play and have a happy go lucky vibe about them. When he finds a buddy who's just as playful as he is, it's all about floppy mouths, loosey-goosey faces, wrestling matches that are the dog form of a pillow fight, and a game of tag you're it from time to time. He's not all play all the time either, so no need to worry about your house turning to into a 24/7 dog park. He appreciates those calmer moments and after a good wrestling match, play breaks end mutually and you’ll find him off exploring or he’s next to a person soaking in all the affection. He would be best in a home with a dog who is looking for a playmate that can match his play style, one that also enjoys the company of another dog, and appreciates those calmer relaxing moments as well. When it comes to training, this boy loves treats and will do anything for a treat and some encouragement. Treats are one of the ways to this boy's heart. He takes treats very gently too and I love the way his mouth just barely touches your hand to where you can feel how soft and fuzzy his lips are. Which are smooth like butter. Danny already knows how to sit and will even automatically sit for you too from time to time. On a walk, Danny does pull a little bit at the beginning out of initial excitement but after a few minutes and some guidance he is walking like a gentleman and is an enjoyable walking buddy. He has a curious nose and likes to smell all the smells while also looking up and checking in with you from time to time. Especially if you're telling him how handsome he is LOL he looks up at you with the biggest smile. He is crate trained and potty trained as well. He will need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once he arrives at his forever home and while he settles into his new routine. We have noticed that he does best when he can get a couple of potty breaks throughout the day. Danny would thrive in a home with a semi-active family looking for a buddy to take with them on adventures, explore those trails you have saved on the map, and a loving companion for you to show them all about what it means to be loved and cherished. He would do best in a home with a backyard in the suburbs where he can stretch his legs, romp around, and enjoy the sunshine rather than in the heart of the city. We are willing to test Danny Zuko with anything out need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
