Story
Let’s talk about Liberace Libby (fka Livi).. she was adopted as a 10 week old puppy and surrendered back to us when she was a year and a half old. Due to absolutely no fault of hers, her dad had family medical issues and could no longer keep her. Libby struggled at first understanding what happened to her person, she had to rebuild trust and know that she was loved and safe. We have all been there, when life throws us a curve ball we didn’t see coming… then our second chapter starts. So who is Libby now? She is silly! Playful! Loving ( especially if you scratch her butt, she will be your best friend). She is smart and curious and will attach herself to your hip. Libby loves to run and is very athletic, she is great at chasing the ball then running full out and stopping right in front of you, dropping the ball and wanting to fetch again. She loves squeaky toys, warm blankets and soft beds. Libby is curious with other dogs (slow proper introductions are best), she plays and wrestles, at times she gets excited and plays rough. She is learning and working hard on her play skills. She just loves having a friend (don’t we all?) She is not good with small dogs so a dog her size or larger would be best for her. She does have a prey drive for small animals as she didn’t grow up socialized with smaller dogs so no cats, bunnies or small dogs for her. Children- she has fostered with a small child (7 years old) and did well however we suggest an older child or teenager as she doesn’t know her size and smaller children move differently than older children. Did we mention Libs is smart! She learns new things quickly and is very eager to please her person, training with her is easy as she looks to her person for direction and guidance. Libby is a silly girl and her expressions are priceless as is her side eye when you’re talking to her. She loves to talk to you and arroooo when she’s happy. Libby does a tippy toe dance when she is excited and wants to play. You simply can’t have a bad day when Libby gives you all of her heart. Libby is fully vetted, crate and leash trained and housebroken. She is 2 years old and petite at 39 lbs. Our goal is to find her her furever family, she deserves to have her happily ever after. We have waived her adoption fee because it’s about finding her the best home. Please inquire/apply at www.northboundrescue.com Libby is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
🌙💙Meet Teddy Oliver Moon (a.k.a. Ollie)!🌙💙 Teddy is a 90-pound bundle of love with the biggest head and the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. This gorgeous tricolor boy is playful, goofy, and so excited to show you just how happy he is, especially when toys are involved! His foster family loves him so much that everyone wanted to name him, so now he proudly goes by Teddy Oliver "Ollie" Moon because one name just isn’t enough for a dog this special. Teddy’s story hasn’t been easy. He was found tied up with another dog and sadly ended up on the euthanasia list at the shelter. His smaller companion was rescued first, and Teddy nearly lost his chance but thankfully, he’s now safe in a wonderful foster home where his true personality is shining through. Teddy is housebroken, crate-trained, good on walks, and great with other dogs. He’s friendly, affectionate, and always ready for fun. Because he’s a big, bouncy boy who can be a little jumpy when excited, we’re looking for an experienced home with older kids (just due to his size). We’ve seen no signs of aggression just lots of joy, energy, and love. This sweet, special boy deserves the forever family who will give him the second chance he almost didn’t get. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, goofy best friend who will fill your home with love and laughter, Teddy Oliver "Ollie" Moon! is your guy. 🐾 Reach out to learn more!

King might just be your perfect match. This soft, short, grey gentleman is about 6–8 years old and has truly mastered the art of lounging. His favorite pastime? Flattening himself like a little pancake as close to you as possible, preferably on top of you if you’re open to it! King may be deaf in one ear, but that doesn’t stop him from tuning in when it counts (especially if there’s food or the rustle of a leash involved). He’s got selective hearing down to a science and makes it work in the most charming way. He’s gentle and easygoing with other dogs, always eager to greet them on walks, and doesn’t pay much attention to smaller animals you might pass along the way. Despite his mostly mellow nature, he’ll surprise you with the cutest zoomies when excitement strikes, usually around mealtime or the promise of an outdoor adventure. King’s tiny little legs and signature sprawl are just part of his unique charm, but what really melts hearts is his love for a soft comfort blanket. He’ll carry it with him, curl up on it, and even suck on it like a little baby, it’s his happy place. If you’re ready to share your home (and your heart) with a sweet, soulful snuggler who will bring you calm, cuddles, and the occasional joy-sprint, King is ready for his home.

Story
Jayce has had a rough start, but you would not know it when you meet him. He lived his life on a chain, he almost lost his life after being attacked by another dog which is when he came into our care. Jayce went from living on a chain, to a kennel for a few months and now he has freedom and he LOVES it!! He enjoys finding a cool place to rest, he ABSOLUTELY loves toys! He is often found with a toy in his mouth, he tosses them and entertains himself. He enjoys a leisurely walk and then is ready for more relaxing. Jayce may seem intimidating with his deep bass bark, but he will wag his tail along with his whole body just as quickly once he sees you. He is an enthusiastic and affectionate boy. Jayce gets along well with female dogs (as long as they aren't overly dominant). He is a pretty laid back guy that is just so happy to be in the moment. He could stand to learn not to jump when excited but otherwise he is a perfect gentleman. Jayce has been waiting to go home for 8 months for someone to pick him. He is a solid guy, weighing around 60 lbs. His ideal family would be one without small children as he has not had the opportunity to meet them. **************PLEASE READ THIS FOR NEXT STEPS**************** COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Meet Dominic!  Dominic is not a Spotty Dog.  Contact information for adoption is below. Dominic is an 11-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold.
