Story
Rusty is an affectionate, easygoing guy who’s thriving in foster care. He settled in right away, picked out a favorite toy from a basket, and made himself at home. He`s a total cuddle bug who follows his foster around like a little shadow and loves to curl up in a lap for naps. He enjoys short bursts of play with squeaky toys, but his favorite thing is working on a pupcicle treat toy. He`s housetrained with no accidents reported and has good leash manners, though he may pull a bit if he spots another dog or wildlife—he’s easily redirected. Rusty rides well in the car with a seatbelt leash and has been calm and polite during outings. He greets new people gently without jumping or barking. He prefers not to share space with other dogs and we`re unsure about cats.

Story
INSIGHTS FROM MY FOSTER:`Roscoe is a sweet, big-headed boy who wants to cuddle. He loves a vigorous walk, and if you`re lucky he will show off his speed with some post-walk zooms around the house. Once he`s tuckered out, he just wants to sit in the coziest spot in the house--a nice soft bed or couch--and wedge himself as close as physically possible to the nearest available human. If you earn his trust, he will invite you to rub his belly. His favorite activities include his snuffle mat and rough-housing with his stuffed frog. Though he looks like a tough guy, he is, in fact, a giant and respectful baby. Here are a few things other things that might be good for a potential adopter to know:-Roscoe is a bit of an anxious boy. He didn`t like when he was separated from a human by a door or when he wasn`t sure whether he was invited onto the couch. -When he gets bored, he tends to whine until he gets his way--though it`s not always clear what he wants! I suspect Roscoe would respond well to a lot of routine and plenty of opportunities for stimulation and play. (He`s good at playing with a toy by himself.)-He`ll need some training for leash walking because he sometimes pulls and he`s strong. He showed signs of being trainable on this front, so maybe this is something that a potential adopter could work with him on. -He is always very interested in other dogs on walks. He pulls to get to them, although he never barks and does not seem aggressive. -In general, Roscoe seems smart and very trainable. He knows SIT and DOWN, and seems to enjoy training sessions. -We had him for about 6 days and did not try leaving him alone, so we`re not sure how he`d handle that-He seems fully housetrained``Super sweet and very excited! It was a bit hard to put his seatbelt on at the start because he very excited and was moving around a lot. During our walk he pulled a bit but not to much that it was a problem. When we were heading back, he was very tired and slept on my daughters lap! He is super sweet and a cuddle bug! He was very well with other people and he never barked at all during our day out!``Roscoe loves sniffing games and running around but can also be sweet and cuddly. I loved spending time with him! We took a short car ride to my apartment, which Roscoe definitely didn`t love - he was anxious and tried to crawl under the barrier into the front of the car. Once we arrived, however, he was a happy boy! We hung out for a few hours in

I came to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my history. I have a really cute face and lots of wrinkles! I can be aloof but with patience and yummy treats I can warm up. Staff always recommends slow introductions to any new people or animals in the home. I might do best in a home without kids as I am still working on being more confident in new situations. Please ask the front if you have anymore questions about me.

Story
I am a very sweet dog and I am great with people. A person that kept me for a while reported that I am an escape artist (I can jump a fence) and that I am not good with livestock or cats. However, they also reported that I seem crate trained and I know `sit` and other basic commands. I`m adorable and I will be an amazing companion for some lucky folks that have the right spot for me.

Story
We first met Hank (aka Wrinkle Daddy) 5 years ago at our local shelter. We were told at the time that he was 2 years old, making him 7 now. We instantly fell in love with his sweet face and goofy personality and took him home that day. Hank looks forward to a daily walk but otherwise is the ultimate couch companion! This snuggly and affectionate guy loves to curl up with people and will even ask to get under a blanket with you if you’re inclined to let him. Hank has received professional training and responds to basic commands. He is very food motivated which makes additional treat training easier. We love this dog and think he would make a great solo pet for the right household!

Story
Super sweet 5-year-old female Boxer. She was previously owned by my older neighbor, who unfortunately can no longer care for her. She’s a sweet and loving dog who would thrive in a calm household. She’s friendly, loyal, and affectionate. She’s crate trained and does well in her crate when left alone. She doesn’t do well with small dogs, and tends to want to be the "boss" around other large dogs. She has a tendency to try to correct them and assert dominance, so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She has never been around children or cats and would do well with experienced dog owners. She is house trained but does have an occasional accident if left alone too long. She knows basic commands and love to play. Looking to find her a forever home with someone that can give her plenty of love.
