Story
I raised Ruger since he was 3 weeks old. I had to bottle feed him. Unfortunately he was attacked by another dog when he was 6 months old. So he doesn't play well with other animals. He's never bitten anyone or hurt any other animal. He just gets real excited. Ruger's a big lover with a lot of energy so the adopter should be someone who's very active. Unfortunately I have to re-home him because I have to move across the country in an attempt to get and stay sober. I can't take him with me or I would. Ideally the perfect situation would be someone willing to foster him for me for 6 months.

Story
Minnow is a goofy, happy 3 year old, 55 pound American Staffordshire/Lab mix that is the perfect companion. She is a delightful girl, always making her foster parents laugh. Whether it is taking a walk, a hike, playing with her toys, lounging, she is a great companion, She is a medium energy gal who gets the zoomies at walk time, and then relaxes on the couch after. She is satisfied with 2 potty breaks and one 45" walk on weekdays, and stays home well on her own. She is easy to train and knows many training cues. Minnow loves walks, hikes, cuddling on the couch, playing with her plushy toys, fetching her ball and being with her people. We seek a home with a female,, and if there is a man/men, they are gentle and patient, allowing her to develop comfort and attachment at her pace. Thus far, she meets new people well. She currently lives in an apartment, and receives two short 15" walks plus 1 45" walk on weekdays. We will be seeking a home with a yard, but it is a testament to her calm personality that she lives so well in an apartment. Minnow gets along with other dogs. No cats; she chases. She has not been around children and has seemed wary of them. Teens who are calm and gentle will be fine. Minnow is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. All of her worldly belonging come with her, including: leash, collar, harness, rain coat, food dish and mat, dog bed, kong, stuffies, lick mat, treats, small amount/remaining food, dog shampoo and nail clipper. Her adoption fee is $250. On drives over 30", she has sometimes gotten car sick and sometimes now. Meds and behavioral fixes have not yet been tried; we can discuss. A great home for Minnow and her must haves include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Dog savvy adopters who have plenty of time to spend with their pet. 3. Folks who will give this girl all of the love, warmth, good quality care and food that she deserves. 4. Adopters who will include her in their fun activities. Minnow would love to start the new year in her forever home, so if you are interested, run don't walk, to inquire or apply! To Inquire: please send an email to: awoofovermyhead@gmail.com. Include: Minnow in the subject line. Give us some information about yourself, and how Minnow will fit into your life. Please leave a phone number so that we may reach out to you. To apply, complete the following application thoroughly and with detail, and we will be in touch promptly. Please complete the application thoroughly, answering each question and offering deails. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ZcKpPH2wOlCA__ZBKp8Q5b5r-VOCl-xS5PLdZosswUg/edit Our process involves having a screened and approved application before meeting the pup. It is a short & easy process and if all goes well at a meet, she goes home with you. We seek the best match for each dog.

Story
STORMI is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. She found a home for two of the pups but this little cutie and three sisters and a brother are desperate to find new homes. Spays and neuters will be included in their adoption fee. They are somewhat paper trained but will need potty training, leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. If you are interested in meeting this girl or any of the siblings, Khaos, Zuri, Chiquita and Onyx please fill out an adoption application and we'll get you connected to her as soon as you are approved. Or, if you are even willing to foster them while they are looking for a new home that would be great too! Their adoption fee will be $300 which as was mentioned included their spays and neuters. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.October 31, 2025, 12:21 pm
