Story
Sweet Penny is a beautiful girl who loves to play ball and go on walks, and she&#39s super good on the leash! She won&#39t even run off when you let the leash drop! When she gets home she&#39s ready to snuggle all day with you! Penny is crate trained, but she can be left on her own and does great. She is dog friendly. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and taking heart worm preventative. She needs loving home, OR a hero to foster her until her true home can be found! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Penny is participating in the Guest Dog Program, so her ongoing care and custody are provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.July 15, 2025, 7:41 pm

Story
Wacha is a 5 year old pittie mix, weighing in at about 50 lbs. She&#39s spayed, house broken and potty trained; extremely playful, affectionate and cuddly! Wacha is an active, athletic girl that will be best paired with a family who provides the physical activity she so enjoys! Maybe introduce her to &#34dog sports&#34 like agility, nose-work, or just a running partner. Wacha doesn&#39t appreciate cats, and can be &#34dog selective&#34. A home with small children wouldn&#39t be good because of their unpredictability, but she loves older children and adults. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Wacha is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.June 22, 2025, 12:59 pm

Story
This is Hunter, a blue nose pit/ lab mix about to be 3 y/o on August 20th! He loves dentley&#39s bones and going on trips! He isn&#39t friendly with other male dogs but is friendly with other female dogs! He would be great in just a 2 dog household and even better if it is just him! We are unsure how he is with toddlers but older children he should be fine with. He doesn&#39t like his ears touched too much and he doesn&#39t like being picked up... but loves cuddles, belly rubs and walks! He is also e-collar trained but still follows basic commands without the e-collar! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Story
Hi I&#39m Kiera! People are my favorite thing in the whole world! I cannot contain my excitement when people come near me! After I greet you and wiggle my body all over then I can relax with you and hang out on the couch. I am crate trained but I would prefer to sleep next to you on the bed. I get along with dogs my size and who like to play a lot. I can play a little rough sometimes so I would do better in a home with a dog who likes to play like I do. I love kids but I would do better in a home with older children due to my excitement when people come and I forget how big I am. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Story
Brock is a 4-year-old American Bully with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At around 80 pounds, he&#39s a short stocky guy who adores people and lives for love, toys, treats, and walks. He&#39s been called a &#34Gentle Giant,&#34 and it fits. He&#39s sweet, affectionate, and so ready for his forever home. One look into Brock&#39s soulful eyes and you&#39ll feel it, this dog knows he&#39s been given a second chance and he&#39s not wasting a moment of it!! If you&#39re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with joy, snuggle like a pro, and who&#39ll change your life, just like you&#39ll change his- Brock is your guy! He&#39s doing beautifully in his foster home and in training, continues to blossom with each passing day. Brock must be the only pet in the home and needs a secure, 6-foot fenced yard to keep him safe during outdoor playtime. He&#39ll thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands strong, loving breeds like the American Bully. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Story
ADOPT RANGER! Ranger is the cutest little guy! He's a little nervous sometimes in new situations, and he would love to find a family with another doggie BFF for him. He loves to play and thinks toys are just wonderful. Ranger plays hard and then crashes hard wherever he might be at the time. He can seriously sleep anywhere! He enjoys sunbathing and gets pretty excited when he gets to try new treats and snacks. Ranger is a very sweet boy. He loves his furry foster brother. He hates the rain and thinks having wet paws is beneath him. He will make sure you know when he's unhappy about being cold and prefers to wear a sweater when it's chilly. He's a silly, fun-loving pup, and he'd love to bring some sunshine and joy to you! Please consider making Ranger a part of your family. Story
Wren is a happy-go-lucky boxer. Loving pretty much everything and everyone this sweet girl loves cacoons and dens, hanging out with her buddies (people and dogs), and eating snacks (who doesn't?). She is constant need of attention, but much like the boxer she is, she is very independant.  Wren was in a home, the owner was no longer capable of giving Wren the love and attention she needed. When she arrived here she sprinted around the yard, so excited to run around. She goes out with one buddy at the moment but we expect she does well with most dogs. Previous owner said she does well with dogs, cats, and children. We have not seen her around cats, but we know she does well with little kids.  She is house trained, does well on leash, and is attentive to people. She would do well in homes where she can get attention and plenty of time to be mentally stimulated or room to run!   ##1666551##
