Story
Maggie is still searching for her forever family! Here is what one of our volunteers has to say about her: “Maggie is a gem. She has the best temperament and is probably one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. She loves, loves, loves people. When she looks up at you with those eyes, you can’t tell her no! She loves belly rubs, being pet, and giving kisses. She would do really well with older kids, but she could go to a family without kids as well. Maggie loves to do all of the typical dog activities, such as walks and car rides. There’s no question she’d be your best friend and accompany you on all your adventures. She’s just so happy and loving. I’m surprised this precious girl hasn’t been scooped up yet!” Maggie is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She is kennel trained and potty trained. If you are interested in adding Maggie to your family, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Through no fault of his own, Duke has found his way back to Rescue Row after spending two years in his adopted home. Due to changes in his family’s work schedules and personal circumstances, Duke was spending much of his time in a kennel. Now, we’re on a mission to find him a loving, active home he truly deserves. According to his previous family, Duke was a regular at the dog park and got along well with every pup he met. He’s also been wonderful with the dogs in his foster home and has shown no interest in the resident cat—bonus points for being cat-friendly! Duke is playful, toy-loving, and would thrive in a home with a canine companion his size or with an active family who can keep him physically and mentally engaged. Due to his strength (we’re currently working on leash manners!), we recommend a home with children over the age of 10. Duke is almost 3 years old, weighs 73 lbs, and according to Wisdom Panel, he’s 43% American Staffordshire Terrier, 38% American Pit Bull Terrier, 7% American Bulldog, and a dash of Australian Cattle Dog (4%), German Shepherd (3%), American Eskimo (2%), Dalmatian (2%), and American Akita (1%). If you’d like to apply for this handsome and happy boy, please visit www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 buiness days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, Zelle, Venmo or check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Leisel is a 7 month old, 40 lb Boxer/Pit Bull mix (our best guess)—and she’s as sweet as they come! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Leisel is both potty trained and kennel trained, though she currently sleeps in bed with her foster mom and absolutely loves to snuggle. We’re hoping to find a forever home that will welcome her into their bed, too—because this girl is a true cuddlebug at heart! Story
Gwen is an absolute sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever home! She thrives with the companionship of another dog—whether it’s cuddling up together or just hanging out. She also loves to zoom around the yard, either on her own or in a fun game of chase with a friend. Gwen is incredibly dog and puppy-friendly! She enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, and is always up for a car ride—making her the perfect travel buddy. Gwen is both potty and kennel trained. While she sleeps in her kennel at night and stays there for short periods when her foster parents are away, she has never been destructive in their home. When Gwen first arrived at her foster home, she was a little unsure of random noises and even her own reflection, but she has gained confidence and left those habits behind. She’s still working on her leash skills and adjusting to unfamiliar environments, but she’s making great progress. She already knows several commands, including sit, down, place, stay, and free. Gwen is a 4 year old, 54 lb mix—Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Dalmatian, Rottweiler, and Lab. Story
Bug was born in Dec, she’s a 5 month old Pocket Bully w/ little white socks. While we adore her and she's a wonderful companion, we realize we've overextended ourselves with a new addition to our family. This sweet girl is full of energy and potential but needs more consistent training than we can provide at this time. She is playful, friendly, and eager to learn, making her the perfect candidate for someone who can devote time and attention to her development. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and preventative meds. Bug has spent one day/week at doggy daycare socializing with other dogs her size (24-30 lbs). She’s been around kids (still in the puppy nipping stage) and cats (she wants to play, they do not). If you have experience with puppies and are ready to give her the love and consistency she deserves, please reach out to us. She is smart but will need more reinforcement for best habits. We genuinely want her to find a great home where she can thrive! $120 (incl meds)
