Koko is house-trained, calm, and polite- she’ll even wait patiently for permission before eating, hopping on the couch, or entering a room. Koko already knows her commands- sit, paw, stay, kiss, and go to the cage- and she’s eager to please. She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, rides quietly in the car, and has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle-ready calm. While she enjoys having another calm dog around, she’d be happiest as the star of the show in her forever home. A yard where she can run and play would be ideal, and most of all, she wants to be with her people as much as possible. Wilma is being fostered in NJ. Hello from Wilma in NJ! Wilma just wants to be with a person and has aspirations of being a lap dog. She enjoys walking, but is not a runner, is attracted to other dogs and ignores the cat and rabbit she lives with, so the house stays peaceful. Wilma rides well in the car regardless of where we are traveling to, and waits patiently in the car during grocery trips. Napping is a favorite pastime. And anytime treats are involved she is definitely interested. Altogether Wilma is a wonderful companion. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
