Story
LUNA is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. We found a home for several of the pups but this little cutie and one of her sisters are desperate to find new homes. Spays will be included in their adoption fee. They are house trained, but need some leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. If you are interested in meeting this girl please fill out an adoption application and we'll get you connected to her as soon as you are approved. Or, if you are even willing to foster them while they are looking for a new home that would be great too! Their adoption fee will be $250 which as was mentioned included their spays. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.May 24, 2026, 5:33 pm

Story
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Maddie is a 12 year old boxer mix. She loves long walks and sitting next to you on the couch. She has most experience with smaller dogs. She loves carrots and green beans and knows a few tricks. Maddie is a lovely dog who we would keep if we didn’t already have 2 dogs and a cat.

Story
Buddy is a bright, energetic puppy with a huge love for life. He wakes up ready for adventure and spends his days exploring, playing, checking things out, and finding ways to be involved in whatever is happening around him. He is incredibly curious and always interested in his surroundings, which makes everyday life with him feel fun, active, and full of personality. He has the kind of happy energy that naturally draws people toward him. Buddy loves interaction and thrives when he gets attention, engagement, and opportunities to explore. He would likely enjoy an active household where he can continue building confidence through walks, playtime, training, and lots of positive experiences. He is still very much a puppy, so he will need guidance and structure as he grows, but he is eager, social, and excited about life. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/ynS3k8Q21f4?si=JK1VK2Z_xopnFyAm Buddy also has a very affectionate side that balances out his playful energy beautifully. Once he’s tired himself out from running around and investigating everything, he enjoys settling in close and relaxing near his people. He likes companionship and seems happiest when he feels connected and included. He has the kind of personality that makes him feel like a true part of the family very quickly. He would do especially well with adopters who are prepared for an active puppy and who want a dog involved in their daily life. Buddy is not a couch potato puppy — he wants to learn, move, play, and experience things alongside his people. At the same time, he is incredibly loving and sweet, and he forms bonds easily with the people caring for him. Buddy is going to make someone an amazing companion. He is goofy, affectionate, curious, fun, and overflowing with the kind of joyful puppy energy that makes raising a dog such a rewarding experience. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69ead1e1bb3a16ee0601727d Questions? Kane came to us after a horrific accident where he had been **run over and pinned beneath a vehicle**. The damage to his skin was extensive, and he spent **an entire year here patiently rehabbing and healing**. Sleeping in bed curled up against your legs Kane has been adopted **twice before**, but those homes just weren’t quite the perfect fit for him. Sometimes the right match takes time, and Kane is **patiently waiting for the family who truly understands him and will love him forever.** What we know for sure is this: Kane is a **wonderful, affectionate dog** who bonds deeply with his people and deserves a home where he can finally settle in for good.
