Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Watch a video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute! Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands. FB Video of Dancer and FH's dog playing. So sweet. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1685164315473825March 7, 2026, 12:25 pm

Story
Meet Dogbert!🏡🐶This sweet, handsome senior may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of love (and a little energy!) to share. He takes his time settling into new places, but once he feels safe, he'll lean in for gentle head and belly scratches, his slow tail wag saying, "I trust you." Dogbert is a calm, affectionate gentleman who loves lounging in the yard, cozy naps, tasty treats, and snuggles with his favorite human. He's wonderful with people and kids, polite, and a great listener-always waiting for an "okay" before heading outside and coming right back when called. He prefers to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention. If you're looking for a big, easygoing companion with a quiet spirit and a heart full of love, Dogbert may be your perfect match. Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 103.2 Age: 8yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
Chonkers is a sweetheart weighing 113 lbs who is ready for a fresh start. He was found wandering around a farm where he was being overfed, so he’s currently carrying quite a bit of extra weight. *Because of this, Chonkers will need a committed adopter who is dedicated to helping him safely lose weight through proper diet, portion control, and regular exercise.* He’s an absolute people-person who loves adventures and being by your side. Walks are one of his favorite things, and they’ll be an important (and fun!) part of his weight-loss journey. He’s looking for a home that can provide consistent activity, structure, and encouragement to help him become his healthiest, happiest self. Chonkers would do best in a home without cats and with a family ready to cheer him on as he works toward his fitness goals. If you’re ready to help this lovable guy slim down and live his best life, Chonkers is ready to meet you!

Story
Looks like: Anatolian Shepherd mix Female, 6 years old (estimated), 87 pounds Like her namesake from Peter Pan, Nana is the picture of loyalty and love. This sweet senior has a gentle, caretaker's heart. She bonds deeply with her people and will happily be your steady, loving shadow. Nana would prefer to join a home with stability and predictability. She can be a bit confused by new people entering the home. She is hoping for a patient, understanding home that will give her comfort, routine, and reassurance when she needs it. In return, she'll give you unconditional love and a calm, devoted companionship that only a senior dog can offer. Independent as well as affectionate, Nana is just as content to nap on the porch or lounge in the yard as she is to enjoy a car ride or a slow stroll. She walks beautifully on leash and loves to take in the world at her own pace. Sweet Nana joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray.

Hank

Anatolian Shepherd

Male, Young
Orinda, CA
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hank is a big beautiful 1 yr old boy that is fully/professionally trained. House trained (no accidents in over 6 months), crate trained (not a peep overnight for 9 hours even when my kids wake us up in the middle of the night), leash trained (amazing walker/ trained not to pull), well behaved in the car, loves going new places and meeting new people, takes treats gently. Hank is a mixed guardian shepherd breed and needs lots of exercise. If you have a big yard (which is needed for Hank), no need for a ball or frisbee, he will sprint around for hours by himself protecting your yard. He doesn't get along with our other male dog (8 year old lab) so we have to separate them. This is extremely difficult logistically with two other dogs and two young kids. His ideal home would have a large fenced yard and no other dogs.
