Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Watch a video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute! Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25 Update: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands. Story
We got Charlie at 8 weeks old and he flew with a flight nanny all the way from Minneapolis. When we first got Charlie, we were told he was leonberger and golden retriever. We’ve had various dog breeds before and was interested in the Leonberger. DNA test results show that Charlie is Anatolian and golden retriever. An Anatolian has a totally different personality/temperament and needs than that of a Leonberger. He is great with kids. I use to bring him to the children’s playground with my son when they were both little. The kids from school and library would create a circle around Charlie to pet him and he would just flop over and eat it up. Our biggest issue is that we currently live/moved into a busy condo with lots of dogs. Charlie loves going to dog parks and even has dog siblings various sizes (Australian sheperd, French bulldog, and mini schnauzer). But he is an a different dog at our condo -always on guard when he sees dogs. He will bark, lunge and act wild.

Story
Meet Cookie! This 75-pound bundle of joy is a goofy, affectionate sweetheart who absolutely adores people. Cookie loves to snuggle and thrives on attention. While she can be a bit selective with other dogs—especially on leash—she does well with slow, proper introductions. Cookie is smart, knows a variety of commands, is fully house-trained, and highly food motivated (which makes training a breeze!). Because of her size and energy, she’d do best in a home without small children, though dog-savvy kids aged 10 and up would be just fine. Cookie is full of life and ready to join you on all your adventures!

Story
Looks like: Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix Female, 6 years old (estimated), 87 pounds Like her namesake from Peter Pan, Nana is the picture of loyalty and love. This sweet senior has a gentle, caretaker's heart. She bonds deeply with her people and will happily be your steady, loving shadow. Nana would prefer to join an adult home with stability and predictability. She can be a bit confused by new people entering the home. She is hoping for a patient, understanding home that will give her comfort, routine, and reassurance when she needs it. In return, she'll give you unconditional love and a calm, devoted companionship that only a senior dog can offer. Independent as well as affectionate, Nana is just as content to nap on the porch or lounge in the yard as she is to enjoy a car ride or a slow stroll. She walks beautifully on leash and loves to take in the world at her own pace. Nana prefers to be the only pet in the home. Sweet Nana joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray. Due to her senior status, they felt she would do best in a senior focused rescue to find that perfect forever family to fit her needs.
