This is the first step. Please tell us a bit about yourself/family - What city do you live in? - Do you rent or own? - Any children in the home? What ages? List all family members living in home - What is your work schedule? Family schedule? Will your schedule change post COVID? - How many hours per day would pet be left alone? - Where is pet kept when left alone? - Where does pet sleep? - Any other pets in the home? If so, what type/breed? - How often will the dog be exercised? - If the dog becomes ill or injured are financially prepared to provide medical care - Are you prepared to care for this dog for its life span of 10-15 years? - Do you have a plan in place in the event that something happens and you are no longer able to care for the dog? - Prior to adoption, an up close video of your fenced yard will be required - entire perimeter including gates and the bottom of the fencing. Yard must be free of foxtails and fully secured. - Home check may be performed - If "meet & greet" is scheduled, all household members, dogs included, must be present. Adoption fee is $350 which covers all shots and spay/neuter. Our adoption fee is $350. The fee covers the cost of having the dog fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Chewy is smart and already knows how to sit, lay down and wait for a command to eat his food or take a treat. He is also house trained, takes treats gently, sleeps in his crate, is great on his walks, and is not a big barker. He also loves a good belly rub. The ideal home for Chewy would be a loving, active family with previous dog experience. He is an excellent snuggler and will also curl up with you on the couch and calmly chew on a toy. Bogie has a lot of energy. With more time and walks we believe he would calm down. He defiantly needs to burn off energy daily to be happy and this may change with age. Bogie has not had much leash training and will pull on a leash he is a strong boy so it will take someone strong to leash train time. On 02/16/24 Bogie was cat tested and we feel he would do best in a home with no cats. While Bogie is a sweetheart and loves people he just needs some TLC. Reina was rehomed to us in early December. She was malnourished, uncared for and had behavioral issues. We were told she was trained, great with kids, other dogs and cats and healthy. She was not healthy, full of infections, not up to date on her vaccines and she has severe issues with resource guarding. We sent her to KORU K 9 for 5 weeks. She bit my daughter twice, and my husband once requiring stitches. She just came back from school and resource guarded food and bit my husband again. She is a very sweet girl who was unfortunately abused and we were not given the entire story. 8,000.00 later it is still unsafe for my 6 year old to have Reina with us. We have to re home her as soon as possible, or we will have to put her down.
