Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1100628651741940 Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands. FB Video of Dancer and FH's dog playing. So sweet. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1685164315473825October 31, 2025, 12:29 am

Story
Let me introduce you to Cleo, our sweet, soulful Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 70 pounds. She’s not just a pretty face (though her big brown eyes will melt you); she’s also incredibly smart. She watches everything and picks up on new things quickly—she already knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and “leave it,” and she’s learning more in doggie school every week. Cleo is potty trained and a great passenger in the car. At night, she sleeps soundly on our bed, curled up like she owns the place—and honestly, we don’t mind one bit. We haven’t tried her in a crate since the one we have is too small for her, but she’s been just fine without it. She loves chasing squirrels and once lunged at a neighbor’s cat—she thought it was just another squirrel in disguise—so a cat-free home is definitely best for her. She enjoys playing with other big dogs, but she’d also be perfectly content as the only dog in the house, soaking up all the love. At training, she’s been around small dogs and done well, but since everyone is on a leash there, we can’t say for sure how she’d be in an off-leash setting. She’s up to date on all her shots, and her spay is scheduled for the end of September. Cleo is one of the gentlest, most loving dogs we’ve ever had the joy of knowing. She’s not big on licking faces, but every now and then, she’ll surprise you with a kiss. She really is something special. Please familiarize yourself with our Adoption Process: https://angelsfurryfriends.org/adoption-process/ If interested to schedule an Appointment to meet, please fill out Adoption application: https://angelsfurryfriends.org/adoption-application-dogs/ We are a small, all Volunteer Foster Based Rescue Group, we do not have a Shelter Location. Story
Meet Dogbert! This sweet, handsome, and lumbering senior guy may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of energy to spare. Dogbert takes his time getting to know new places, but once he feels safe, he'll lean into you for reassurance in the form of gentle head scritches. His slow, sweet tail wag says, "I trust you." He isn't hard to please - all he really wants is a yard to lounge in, a loving human to snuggle with, and a steady supply of treats. Dogbert isn't the type to rush into things; he moves through the world at his own thoughtful pace. Dogbert needs to be the only dog in the home - he prefers the spotlight all to himself. If you're searching for a big, beautiful dog with a quiet spirit and a lifetime of love to give, Dogbert may be your perfect match. Story
Meet Sugar & Spice two sweet sisters with lots of love to give. These girls were sadly found abandoned on the side of the road with no trace of an owner, but that’s all behind them now they’re safe, loved, and officially Calpaws pups! Sugar and Spice are believed to be young adults, likely just under a year old, and we suspect they’re Anatolian Shepherd mixes, a gentle guardian breed known for loyalty and intelligence. Despite their rough start, these two have kept their sweetness. They’re dog friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly just easygoing girls who want to belong. Because of the risk of littermate syndrome, Sugar and Spice will be adopted separately, but both are searching for their perfect match. They are a bit timid, so each will thrive best in a home with another confident dog who can show them the ropes and help them blossom. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a soft spirit and a bright future, Sugar or Spice might be your perfect match.  ##2579101##

Story
**About Mini:** Thank you for your interest in adopting Mini. Please know that Mini is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process for many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Mini's Rescue Story Personality: Mini is absolutely the most perfect FMD (Formosan Mountain Dog) we have ever encountered. No word describes her better than "perfect." Mini was once tied up with a heavy chain outside a house. The house was empty—no one lived there. The owner had simply tied Mini and another dog there, often leaving them without food or water. Since both dogs were chained and unable to forage, they could only bark for help. It was these barks that a member of our rescue organization heard while passing by. The rescuer tried to find the owner but quickly realized the house was abandoned. Neighbors said the owner only came by occasionally. Because the dogs were chained on private property right by the door, the rescuers couldn't take them immediately, so they committed to bringing them food every day. One day, the rescuer saw Mini wandering outside alone. Unsure why she had been abandoned, Mini was just moving aimlessly, sniffing for food, and even approaching people for attention. When she saw the rescuer from a distance, Mini recognized her. She quickly ran over and immediately lay on the ground, rolling onto her belly to show affection. Knowing Mini had been deliberately abandoned, the rescuer took her home immediately. What makes Mini so incredible is how incredibly smart and friendly she is. She immediately learned to use pee pads indoors and was accurate every time. Her calm, non-confrontational, and incredibly optimistic personality means she gets along wonderfully with people (including children), cats, and other dogs! Mini's rescuer summarizes her by saying: "Goofy, great natured, and very easy to care for." This perfect personality makes her an ideal match for both first-time and experienced families. Mini spent her early life chained up and hungry. Now, she is ready to find her forever home—a home that can give her the warmth and love she has always deserved. If you are interested in Mini, please contact us anytime!

Story
Rosco is a loving, affectionate dog looking for his perfect forever home. I adopted him from the San Jose Animal Center about two years ago when he was just 6 months old, and he’s now around 2–3 years old. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or resources to give him the attention and training he deserves, so I’m hoping to find someone who can. Rosco is a gentle, clumsy giant with a heart of gold. He’s very sweet and docile and loves being close to his people. Rosco is crate trained and knows several commands, including sit, down, place, stay, and go eat. He would thrive in a home with a yard or outdoor space where he can stretch his legs and go to the bathroom easily. I’ll include his crate if needed.

Story
Fox is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois with a sweet heart and a gentle spirit. Despite her breed’s reputation for intensity, Fox is an easygoing, friendly girl who loves everyone she meets — people, kids, and other dogs included. She has a calm, social nature that makes her a wonderful companion in many different homes. Fox enjoys playtime, exploring outside, and being part of whatever her humans are doing. She has been well-trained at home and understands good manners. She eats regular dog food, has no special dietary needs, and is overall very low-maintenance. Fox would make an amazing family dog or best friend for someone active who wants a loyal companion. With her affectionate personality and well-rounded temperament, she’s ready to bring joy to her new home.
