Story
Meet Dogbert! This sweet, handsome, and lumbering senior guy may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of energy to spare. Dogbert takes his time getting to know new places, but once he feels safe, he'll lean into you for reassurance in the form of gentle head scritches. His slow, sweet tail wag says, "I trust you." He isn't hard to please - all he really wants is a yard to lounge in, a loving human to snuggle with, and a steady supply of treats. Dogbert isn't the type to rush into things; he moves through the world at his own thoughtful pace. Dogbert needs to be the only dog in the home - he prefers the spotlight all to himself. If you're searching for a big, beautiful dog with a quiet spirit and a lifetime of love to give, Dogbert may be your perfect match. Here is a note from his foster: We fostered Dogbert over the Holidays and he was the best first foster we could have asked for. Dogbert is a very chill senior gentleman who is wonderful around people and kids and absolutely loves a good nap. Despite his laid-back nature, he's far from aloof - he adores loving head and belly scratches and will gently ask for more if you stop. His calm knows no bounds - he barely even lifts his head when new people enter the home, and he was the gentlest giant with our young nieces. Dogbert is also a great listener. He patiently waited for an "okay" before heading down the stairs to our backyard and always listened when it was time to come back in. He's polite, easygoing, and a joy to have around. Dogbert would thrive in a home where he has a cozy place to relax, lots of love, and humans who appreciate a calm, affectionate companion. We feel so lucky to have spent time with him and can't recommend him enough. Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 101.2 Age: 8yrs 5mths 4wks

Story
Dancer was left at a distant shelter as a under-aged puppy at 6 weeks old. He was dirty and timid so the shelter put him with Prancer cattle dog mix puppy also 6 weeks old. We rescued both of them and now they are doing great at their hero puppy foster home. They will get a great start since their foster home is also a trainer. Both are playful and adorable. Dancer seems to be the more outgoing one. More info. to come as they relax and learn. Dancer is more outgoing than Prancer Video from first 2 hours at their foster home. So cute. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1100628651741940 Update from Foster Home 1/3/25: Dancer has grown quite a bit and he is quite a busy guy. More active. He likes to cuddle but he also will wiggle out of your arms if he is full of energy. He can climb over the 2’ dog puppy pen. No cats. He has a confident and maybe sport dog type of personality. 10/30/25: Poor Dancer is now 1 year old and needs another foster home due to the foster home's 5 year grandson that visits often and even though Dancer grew up with kids coming over he now gets to excited and play nipped the grandson's ear. No broken skin but of course scared the kid and fh. Dancer needs a adult foster home that can guide him and understand cattle dog behaviors. Continue training. In the past he did attend a dozen puppy socials at Zoom Room. Great with other dogs. Now he has teenager energy and can get to excited in play. Need to guide him to calm and listen to commands. FB Video of Dancer and FH's dog playing. So sweet. https://www.facebook.com/FFRescue/videos/1685164315473825October 31, 2025, 12:29 am

Anatolian Shepherd Border Collie

Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hank is a big beautiful 1 yr old boy that is fully/professionally trained. House trained (no accidents in over 6 months), crate trained (not a peep overnight for 9 hours even when my kids wake us up in the middle of the night), leash trained (amazing walker/ trained not to pull), well behaved in the car, loves going new places and meeting new people, takes treats gently. Hank is a mixed guardian shepherd breed and needs lots of exercise. If you have a big yard (which is needed for Hank), no need for a ball or frisbee, he will sprint around for hours by himself protecting your yard. He can also be protective of food and toys which can cause him to get aggressive with other dogs. He has been with our family for a year and we love him so much but he attacks our other male dog (8 year old lab) regularly so we have to separate them. This is extremely difficult logistically with two other dogs and two young kids. His ideal home would have a large fenced yard and no other dogs.

Story
Meet Cookie! This 75-pound bundle of joy is a goofy, affectionate sweetheart who absolutely adores people. Cookie loves to snuggle and thrives on attention. While she can be a bit selective with other dogs—especially on leash—she does well with slow, proper introductions. Cookie is smart, knows a variety of commands, is fully house-trained, and highly food motivated (which makes training a breeze!). Because of her size and energy, she’d do best in a home without small children, though dog-savvy kids aged 10 and up would be just fine. Cookie is full of life and ready to join you on all your adventures!
