Macie is a mellow and friendly companion dog and would make a great family dog with her calm demeanor. She's not the type of girl that requires a ton of exercise and play to have her needs meet. Good with dogs,
Story
Always one of the first to come running when we go in search of puppy playtime, Andie LOVES people and finds them fascinating! She's a playful girl who loves to be in the middle of whatever game she and the other Floofs have going - but when people are around she's all about soaking up snuggles and attention. HISTORY Mama dog Tahlili is an Anatolian Shepherd who had a job overseeing a small flock of goats. When her owner got rid of the goats, she had to leave too. She was heavily pregnant when he started looking on Facebook for someone to take her, and her babies were just two days old when he released them to HART. They have been together in a loving foster home ever since. We know Tahlili's breed, and she appears to be purebred (a little small for an Anatolian, but that could be due to poor feeding). The breed of the pups' fathers can be no more than our best guess, taking into account their size and appearance. GENERAL TEMPERAMENT & BEHAVIOR It's too soon to know much about what kind of dogs the Floofs will grow into, but here's what we know: Tahlili is an exceptionally calm, gentle dog who is learning to trust humans and to love being petted. She's a wonderful mother, who faithfully watches over her babies and has kept them well fed and clean from the beginning. The Floofs have been gently handled several times a day since their first days in their foster home. They are now all confident, friendly, trusting, and very playful. They spend nights indoors, but are outside with a big yard to play in all day. They love toys, wrestling, exploring, and playing tag. It's important to remember: the Floofs are puppies, and PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK! These little guys are just getting started - they have sharp nails and needle teeth, and they love to pounce on shoes and grab hold and tug on anything that moves! As far as they're concerned, anything and everything is for play. They still have everything to learn about being civilized members of a mainly-human family. They will trip you up, piddle on your carpet, and chew your stuff. Please don't apply to adopt a Floof unless you're sure you have the time, energy and desire to raise them right! HEALTH STATUS The Floofs were born on February 27, 2024. These babies are going to be BIG dogs. Based on our most recent estimate, the smallest two - Poppy and Little Dot - could reach 120 lbs, while the largest - Otis and Wrigs - could grow to 150 lbs. At this age estimates tend to be inaccurate, but they're definitely not lapdogs, even though they might want to be! They have been fed high-quality large-breed puppy food since they began weaning (and Mama Tahlili has also been on a high quality diet, to ensure she's able to feed them well). They have been regularly dewormed, and will receive their second puppy shot, and will be microchipped, prior to adoption. It will be your responsibility to ensure they receive a full course of vaccination. HART does not support pediatric spay/neuter, so these pups have not been sterilized. You will be required in terms of the adoption contract to have your pup sterilized by the time they are 12 months old. HART will refund you $100 upon receiving proof of adoption. ADOPTION For more pictures of the Floofs, see their Facebook albums at https://www.facebook.com/HearthfireAnimalRescueTeam/photos_albums To apply to adopt a Floof, please email HearthfireART@gmail.com and request an adoption application form.

Good with dogs,
Story
Little Dot is the smallest pup in the litter, but she's a bold little bit, often off on her own personal adventure but always ready to rough-and-tumble with the bigger pups. She loves people, and wastes no time in trotting over to check out what we're up to. She thinks we're extraordinary and amazing, and as soon as she's up close she plunks herself into a sit and then gazes up, just waiting to see what we'll do next! Best of all is when we pick her up for a cuddle, or bend down for a belly rub - she LOVES that kind of attention! HISTORY Mama dog Tahlili is an Anatolian Shepherd who had a job overseeing a small flock of goats. When her owner got rid of the goats, she had to leave too. Good with dogs,
Story
Gentle, a little timid in unfamiliar situations, Piper is a mama's girl. But she's no snooze - left quietly to her own devices, she's quite the explorer! Piper was the first to climb out of the puppy pen, the first to discover the enormous potential of a large hole a previous dog dug in their backyard play area, the first to wriggle through a tiny gap in the backyard fence. This is one smart puppy, and she's looking for calm, kind, gentle people to be her forever family - but they'd better also be able to satisfy her desire for interesting adventures! HISTORY Mama dog Tahlili is an Anatolian Shepherd who had a job overseeing a small flock of goats. When her owner got rid of the goats, she had to leave too. Story
This big, busy boy doesn't seem to move that fast, but he's constantly on the go! Mac wrestles, he pounces, he plays with toys - he is just busy! And then he flops down and sleeps like a rock, because he is also growing, and growing, and GROWING. In between times, if a human shows up, he's quick to line up for cuddles. HISTORY Mama dog Tahlili is an Anatolian Shepherd who had a job overseeing a small flock of goats. When her owner got rid of the goats, she had to leave too. The breed of the pups' fathers can be no more than our best guess, taking into account their size and appearance - but we think it's likely Mac's daddy is a German Shepherd, based on his coloring. Good with dogs,
Story
Otis is the biggest pup in his litter, a calm, thoughtful boy, and he looks set to grow up to be the perfect Gentle Giant. At this stage he spends a lot of his time snoozing and growing. When he's not occupied with that important business, he likes to play with toys, wrestle with his littermates, and line up for deliciously fluffy cuddles. HISTORY Mama dog Tahlili is an Anatolian Shepherd who had a job overseeing a small flock of goats. When her owner got rid of the goats, she had to leave too.
