Meet Meatball! He’s a sweet, smart, high-energy heeler mix who needs a home experienced with working breeds. He’s crate and potty trained, knows sit and shake, and is very affectionate and food motivated. He is not aggressive but gets easily overstimulated and excited around people and dogs. He needs structure, consistency, and continued training for impulse control and leash manners. I’m a single mom with a toddler, and his needs are more than I can realistically manage. As is typical for the herding/working breed, he is higher energy so he will do best in an active home. He's VERY friendly and loves everyone once he's gotten to know them. Kobe is already leash trained and loves walks. He's housebroken AND crate trained. He'd make an excellent co-pilot, as he also loves to go for quick trips in the car! He's a great "Fetch" dog and would love a game of toss the ball in the backyard. He's good at amusing himself with his toys. Kobe can be a bit timid and shy with new people, but warms up quickly once he gets to know you. Little kids may be a bit scary, so we'd recommend older kids who may not be quite as noisy and busy. Jack has Valley fever. He gets seen by the vet to get medication for that. He usually takes the medicine twice a day. He enjoys walks. Being 10 years old he is a bit more limited physically. He doesn’t enjoy younger dogs all over him but enjoys the company of other dogs and kids who are kind to him. He loves pets and snuggles and giving good company. He also has done some hiking but not too rigorous since he is a senior dog. He’s a very happy dog and very handsome.

Nico is a 2-year-old rescue we brought home from a breeder in Mexico. He is truly a gentle giant with lots of energy and a big love for rough play and fun. Nico thrives on activity and enjoys being engaged. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Nico is mostly potty trained, though he is still a work in progress and would benefit from continued consistency. When rescued, we didn’t know his breed or just how big he would grow. Over the past two years, we have done everything we can to give him a loving and fulfilling life while living in apartments.Due to another relocation, we are no longer able to provide the space and environment he truly deserves.This decision breaks our hearts, but our priority is finding whats best for Nico. We are looking for a loving home with a yard where Nico can run, play, and burn off his energy. He would do best with a family or individual who understands large, active dogs and can continue giving him the love, structure and room to grow.
