Name: Bianca Age: 1 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Cattle dog Weight: Approx. 42 pounds Adoption fee: $300 (altered, vaccines up to date, microchipped, vet checked) Location: IN FOSTER, please fill out an adoption application at azsmalldog.org/adoption-form Compatibility with other dogs: Good Compatibility with cats: Good Compatibility with kids: Older kids Energy level: Moderate   Bianca is a gentle soul with a mellow spirit who thrives in the quiet company of her humans. While she may be shy at first and prefers not to be touched until she feels safe, her love for companionship shines through once she's comfortable.  Bianca is fully housebroken and doggy-door trained. Bianca loves her people to talk to her and will joyfully wag to show her expression and appreciation. She gets along well with other dogs, though she appreciates having her own space during mealtime. As for cats, she'll only chase if they run, and even then, it's all in playful fun. One of Biancas quirks is that she gets a bit anxious when left alone for extended periods. That said, she's perfectly content to nap in her cozy pen while her humans are out and about.     WEEKEND ADOPTION EVENT LOCATION: Saturdays 11am to 3pm at Petco at Tatum & Bell Rd       4727 East Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032  *Visit our website or Facebook page for special events schedules, news, and more info!* Website: www.azsmalldog.org     Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/arizonasmalldogrescue/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 6, 2025, 4:15 pm

Story
This sweet young boy was one of the last dogs taken from the Navajo County hoarding property that had 47 dogs in one place over the summer. He is very sweet and friendly with humans, loves to give kisses, and just wants someone to give him a chance. Rex has been through a lot in his short life. He was born up in Holbrook so far off the beaten path you have to drive over an hour down a dirt road to get there. He was one of the last dogs removed from the property and was taken to the Holbrook animal shelter where he spent a week before we found him a foster. This foster had a young child and Rex did ok at first, though was pretty withdrawn and overwhelmed at his new environment. He is a sweet boy who doesn't want to hurt anyone, but having no prior exposure to kids, we think it's best he go to a home without small kids in the future. The foster did not have very much experience with dogs in general and was not comfortable with a dog that needed as much time to adjust as he did.  Rex is doing so much better now than when he first came down, though he has been in boarding for 3 months! He jumps for joy when someone lets him out to play and loves to give kisses and be pet. Many of his initial inhibitions are gone. He has shown us what a friendly guy he can be. He will still have an adjustment period in a new home, but we are hopeful it will be minimal compared to what he has gone through.  As much as we would like to find him an adopter, we would love even more just to get him out of boarding - a foster would be huge for this guy. Please apply if you can help! https://azhuskyrescue.com/adoption-application/ https://azhuskyrescue.com/foster/

Hello, My name is Sarabi! Meet Sarabi! This gorgeous 70-pound shepherd mix is bursting with personality and energy! Sarabi is a true goofball who loves to play rough and rowdy with her doggy pals. Whether it’s a game of chase, tug-of-war, or just romping around, Sarabi brings the fun wherever she goes. Not only is she a social butterfly with dogs, but Sarabi is very friendly with people too! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile, always ready for attention and affection. Because of her enthusiastic play style, she’d do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with her zest for life. Sarabi thrives with active families who enjoy outdoor adventures and ideally another playful dog to be her buddy. If you're looking for a loyal, lively companion who will keep you laughing and moving, Sarabi might just be your perfect match! Her adoption fee is $350 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Chowder is a 1.5 year old pup. He was originally a rescue but is now house trained and is a very active dog! We are looking for someone who is athletic and likes to be outdoors, or a big family who will give him lots of love as he is a big cuddler! He loves to go to the dog park and go for runs and hikes. However, he also loves his chill time and likes to take days off as well!
