Story
Mabel was found abandoned at a gas station :( She is the sweetest puppy I have ever met. She is super calm and is house trained if taken outside regularly, she is still a puppy so it is always a work in progress. Mabel is also crate trained pretty well. She loves to hangout with other dogs and LOVES to run around and play with children. We believe that Mabel is around 6 months old & will have her shots by 3/21. I wish that I was able to keep her, but I am a full time student with a full time job and simply do not have the ability to give her a good long term home.

Story
I've made so much progress since coming to my foster home. I feel good now thanks for the time and patience of my foster dad and furry foster sister. I can sit, fetch a ball, stay and sit up. I only bark if you need me to bark. Such as when I need to go outside to potty or someone comes to the front door. Sometimes Holly will get wound up because she sees a rabbit and I harmonize with her. We are good together. I can walk on a leash when it's attached to a harness but I still need some work when the leash is attached to my collar. If treats are offered, I am a very fast learner and I'll do what I can to please. But you will need to keep training me because there are more things I need to know to be my best self. I'd love to audition for a spot in your home. I could live with other dogs or as an only dog. I've never met a cat so I'm not sure what I might think. I like kids too but haven't met really little ones yet. Overall, I'm full of potential and just need a safe and fun place to grow up. https://azbcr.org/Adopt/AvailableBorderCollies/RescueDetails.aspx?rid=5464

Story
Say hello to ROXY & BANDIT who are 3.5-year-old brother and sister -- best friends who love each other very much. These two are VERY sweet, very loving, and a little silly. Due to a life situation, their mama is having to give them up and is absolutely heartbroken. This sweet Australian cattle dog pair needs a new together-forever home. The dogs must absolutely not be separated - they are even troubled if one has to go to the vet without the other. Both dogs have obedience training and are very nicely mannered. When home alone (or even when they're not alone), they have free roam of the house and are not destructive; they are perfect indoor dogs. That said, Bandit might clean your kitchen counters if you forget to put some food away :) A crate is kept available for the two at all times (door always open) as it's their cozy place for napping. During a storm, mama puts a blanket on the crate and the dogs seem to find comfort, their safety from the storm. Bandit & Roxy are good with all people - even good with smaller children. However, we prefer no small children in the home, our standard policy. Both dogs love kisses and hugs and are generous with them to their humans. They love to wrestle and play together, and need a decent sized dog-friendly yard of their own where they can romp and play and exercise to their hearts' content. Brother Bandit is a little more energetic. While Roxy is also playful, she is so sweet and mellow... loves to be loved, and tries to convince you to give too many treats. They complement each other sweetly and nicely and will fit easily into any home with open arms. This beautiful pair is looking for an active home where the people are around to give affection and exercise. They enjoy walks or jogging (the person(s) should be strong enough to manage the dogs who are 55-60 pounds each) and would appreciate your sharing play-time with them in the yard as well. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application. Please email to request one.

Story
HI EVERYONE MY NAME IS DIXIE!!!! I am a 4-5 year old female mix that was found as a stray in Wickenburg. I was out exploring on my own for about 2 weeks, I have a skin condition that has left me without some fur (less fur to vacuum!) on my legs and back. It hasn't grown back in over a year, but it makes me unique and fits my funny personality. My fur is VERY soft. I have medium drive and would love to hike or go for long walks! I'm not in love with playing ball but I do love to tug! (see my video of the zoomies) I am a very good couch and bed cuddler. I prefer fewer dogs in the house, but I may get along with quieter calmer male dogs! Dixie has been through training and has great leash skills, stays, place command and loves her crate! I may not look like a traditional Border Collie, but it is in there! Dixie very rarely barks! If you adopt Dixie, she will come with additional training. Story
Philo is so fun! He loves to play. snuggle and give lots and lots of kisses! He has all the fun energy of a puppy but the manners of an adult dog. He is 100 housebroke and kennel trained. He will chew up beds if left kenneled too long but if he has a tough toy or KONG to occupy him. he will keep himselt entertained. Philo had a rough start with canine socialization so new dogs can be intimidating for him. He will have no issues adjusting to a new household with patience and time. Female dogs and less dominant dogs seem to be no issue for him at all! He also loves the resident cat and will initiate play time but is not persistent and does not chase. Philo has really learned a lot and seen a lot while being in our home. He listens incredibly well and has great manners. He does jump when excited and when he is really excited. he will accidentally headbutt vou and will play bite. With soft corrections he does areat! Philo does not tolerate loud noises very well. A home with small or rambunctious children might be overwhelming for him for a lot of reasons. We have yet to experience thunder but construction noises, horns, children yelling and playing and so many other things PhIlo does amazing in the car! He rides so qulety and comfortably you will forget nes back there! He does get excited when at the new destination but listens to a firm stav and waits to get out until told. Philo did so aood at the vet and received an A++ from all the staff. Philo is decent on a leash but will pull. harnesses work we and a pocket full of treats really keep is attention. He is very food motivated and will enjoy being rewarded with snacKs! Philo LOVES to play. Frisbee. soccer balls. tennis balls. stuffed tovs. vou name it. he'll play with it! Philo would most likely thrive in a sport home. Agility would be a breeze as well as possibly fly ball or sheep herding he did meet my livestock and showed zero chase instincts though). Philo will love every human in his life. He hasn't met a stranger yet and is truly over-ioyed with human affection. Philo has so much protentional to be the most amazing adventure companion! He is strikingly handsome, gets attention wherever he go's and will bring his human endless joy.
