Story
Meet Roxy smart, sweet, and ready for her forever home! Roxy is a medium-sized bundle of personality with an even bigger heart. At 45 pounds, she's the perfect athletic and affectionate companion for just about anyone. She's great with men, women, and kids, and loves meeting other dogs of all sizes though she may come in a little enthusiastic at first, because she's just that excited to say hello. She may also do well with cats given a proper introduction. Fetch is her love language, but she's equally happy carrying a toy around the house to proudly share with you. She rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows sit, crate, paw, and more making her as well-mannered as she is fun. Expect a total cuddle bug with the cutest morning routine full of energy and affection. Roxy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, house trained, and crate trained. She's devoted, eager to learn, and would thrive with continued training to keep that sharp mind busy. She's not just ready for adventure she's ready for you. Could Roxy be your new best friend? Please visit our website www.promise4paws.org to fill out an adoption application to this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION: Meet our “The Pit” Litter! These adorable puppies are named after characters from the hit medical drama The Pit and will be turning 8 weeks old on June 18, 2026, when they will be ready to head off to their forever homes. Their mama, Dana, is a petite 38 lb Pit Bull mix with an absolutely wonderful temperament. She is sweet, friendly, affectionate, and has been an exceptional mother to her pups. Her loving personality shines through in this happy, playful litter. Robby, Whitaker, Langdon, Emma, McKay, Mel, and Santos are a fun-loving bunch with adorable markings and a beautiful variety of coat colors. They spend their days wrestling, exploring, chasing toys, and piling up together for naps. Each puppy is developing their own unique personality, but all share the same affectionate, social nature that makes them such a joy to be around. These puppies are expected to mature into the medium-size range when fully grown. They would thrive with families committed to providing training, socialization, exercise, and lots of love as they grow into well-rounded adult dogs. Story
Scout is a 10-year-old Australian Cattle Mix who needs a calm, single-person or quiet household without young children. She's a healthy girl who has had some significant life experiences that have shaped who she is today. Scout does wonderfully with people she's bonded to and truly thrives in low-stress environments. She loves walks and outdoor time, and she's a loyal companion to the right person or family. However, she does have anxiety in certain situations and benefits most from a home where she can decompress and feel secure. We're looking for adopters who understand that older dogs sometimes need patience and a peaceful space to settle in. If you're someone who values a dog that's more independent and prefers a quieter household, Scout might be your girl. She'd do best in a home without small children or multiple pets, where she can adjust at her own pace. Scout deserves a home where she can finally relax and be happy. If you think that could be yours, we'd love to hear from you.

Story
Meet Macallan, a gentle 1.5-year-old soul who weighs in at just under 40 pounds. Though he was found wandering the streets as a stray, his past hasn't dampened his affectionate spirit. Macallan is a boy who truly aims to please, and while he may take a moment to settle in, he becomes a total lovebug once he knows he’s safe. He is at his absolute happiest when he is right by your side. Macallan is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs and would love a home with a canine sibling to play with. He’s already a pro on the leash, highly motivated by treats, and never hesitates to shower his people with kisses. For a little extra fun, just add water—Macallan is a total water-lover! Turn on the hose on a hot day and get ready to smile as he splashes around. If you’re looking for a loyal, water-loving companion to complete your family, Macallan is ready to meet you. You can apply to adopt him at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html .

Story
Thornton is new to the rescue. He is currently in a foster home with two other dogs (females) and he is doing great. He is extremely sweet & loving. He’s approximately 60-65 pounds and 3 years old. He was found wandering the streets of Menifee and ended up following a little boy home from school. The single mom could not keep him because of her landlord and reached out to rescues to help her.   Thornton has come a long way in the couple of weeks he’s been with us. He arrived extremely shut down and depressed and now he lights up when he knows he’s going for a walk Or whenever he sees his foster.  We will update the bio as we get to know him, but if you would like to meet him, please do an application on our website at:  https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
