Story

Bishop is about 5 years old, we adopted him when he was a few weeks old. Mom refused to feed him and we took him. We noticed that bishop was extremely vocal and hyper as a pup and put him through training at a local pet store he went through 3 different classes. He knows a lot of different commands however he is still very vocal, he doesn’t bark but whines when he’s excited or anxious. We took him to the vet and the vet put him on anxiety medication, his yelping didn’t get better. We hired a behavioralist and that helped a lot, his anxiety reduced by a lot and became a lot more confident. We recently had a child who’s allergic to dogs. we are hoping to find an owner that is able to keep up with his training and able to give him the attention that we are unable to give him. bishop will always need hands on training to reinforce his confidence and keep him from getting too anxious. He is ball obsessed, loves to fetch, can sit, go to his bed, and Loves people

Story

Kratos is such a beautiful and well behaved boy. His owner adopted him in June and after a couple of weeks she had to move back to Arizona and couldn’t take him so I took him in to keep him from going back to the shelter. I mistakenly thought I’d be able to handle a dog but I work too much and feel bad not being able to give him the love and attention he deserves. He’s house-trained extremely well as in he doesn’t potty, bite things, or bark AT ALL. He had separation anxiety the first few days but after getting used to my schedule he’s as quiet as a mouse. He loves to sleep, is calm in the car, and I think he’s been attacked before because he’s scared of dogs when I take him out on walks so he begins to pant and spin around not knowing what to do. I have everything you’ll need for him i.e. a crate, bed, toys, car protector, dog bags, and all his documentation. I just want to find him a loving home because he’s honestly a dream, I just can’t keep him at this time. :(

Story

Benjamin Bean (Benny) is a sweet, energetic 4 year old cattle dog mix. We adopted him as a puppy but we can no longer give him the life he deserves and are looking to find his new forever home. Benny loves tug of war, fetch, soccer, basketball, and to go on hikes and long off-leash walks with his humans. He’s a pandemic puppy, so he didn’t get proper socialization and as a result is anxious and reactive. He requires experienced adopters who will be patient with him and commit to continuing training and socializing him. He’s very wary of strangers, so we avoid high traffic areas on walks, but when slowly and gently introduced to friends, he bonds quickly and looks forward to seeing them again. With proper care, exercise, and attention, Benny is a sweetheart. He knows words, phrases, and names and knows a handful of tricks. He loves butt rubs and belly rubs. He can sleep in his crate at night and is very well behaved at home alone. Would do best with a yard or a job to do.

Bowser found himself at the shelter because his family had a human baby, and no longer had the time to care for him. He is a sweet, playful boy who is a little confused on why he ended up here. Bowser is a great walker, and just absolutely loves playing fetch. He is a very smart boy and already knows a few commands like sit, down, and stay. He seems to be some sort of herding mix, maybe Aussie/Shepherd?? Bowser will need a dog savvy home who will give him the exercise and structure that he needs to be successful! We don't think he would be appropriate with young kids. Right now he would need to go home with kids 16 years or older, but would most likely do best in an adult only home. Bowser is a very sweet boy, he loves to cuddle up next to you and get belly rubs. He is dog friendly, and would probably do very well with another playful pup in the home! July 26, 2024, 5:29 pm
