The Best of Cody Cody is, at his core, a joyful companion. If you have a tennis ball and a sturdy arm, you have a friend for life. He thrives on activity and is at his happiest when he has a yard to run in and a "job" to do. He is naturally protective of his people, showing a deep devotion that makes him a wonderful companion for the right owner. Why He Needs a Special Home Cody has a lot of energy and a strong protective instinct. Because of this, he recently had a single bite incident. We believe this happened because he hasn't yet learned how to properly channel his protective nature or handle high-stress social situations.

Collie was rescued a year and a 1 ago out of the desert. In Bakersfield, she is doing amazing. She has had training. She has been around other dogs. She is great with kids and cats. She is good in a car. Great trained potty trained overall. She's a busy and active girl. She is doing really wonderful since her rescue. She is currently on boarding. Since there recently has been no foster home that could take her in after her foster. Family could no longer keep her due to them being deployed. Chloe is a wonderful girl. She can be shined timid upon first meeting, but does warm up quickly. And she loves the attention, and the affection she would do best as an only dog in a home, possibly with another submissive dog. Maybe a Mell dog. She is good with cats and has been with kids around ages 7 and older. Please reach out to us if you would like to meet Chloe and give her an amazing forever. We adopted Bodie back in 2020 when he was roughly around a year old. He’s a highly active dog (working dog breed) and loves people, smaller dogs, and is a very affectionate dog. He is very loyal. We sadly need to rehome due to our baby likely having allergies in addition to not receiving the attention he needs. He does need a yard to play or frequent walks, likes chasing a ball around or going on long runs with us. He does bark at critters or people walking by our home. We need a good, loving home for our boy.
