How this pet arrived: Lady was brought in by her previous owner on September 29, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Lady, a sensitive soul in need of a calm and quiet home where she can feel safe. She can be fearful of new people, situations, and other dogs, so she'll thrive best in a low-traffic household without children under 12. If there's already a dog in your home, make sure to bring them for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit. She is crate trained, and thinks of it as her safe space. Lady is looking for patient adopters who can give her time and space to build trust at her own pace. With care and understanding, she will blossom into a loyal companion. Make sure to bring the entire family along to speak with our trainers prior to taking her home! Primary Color: Blue Secondary Color: Red Bicolor Weight: 28 Age: 1yrs 7mths 1wks

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member on September 25, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Clover, a cute pup who's looking for a family ready to take on the fun and challenge of a working breed. Clover came to us through a community member, so we're still learning about her. She has shown some resource guarding behaviors that aren't typical for a puppy her age. Because of this, she'll need a dedicated owner who is experienced with working dogs and can provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment. Clover will thrive with positive reinforcement training to help shape healthy lifelong habits, and management will be key as she continues to grow. Due to her behavior, any children in the home should be 12 or older. Ready to take on Clover's potential and help her blossom? Bring a leash, collar, and take her home today! Primary Color: Black Dapple Weight: 21.6 Age: 0yrs 4mths 2wks

Dog’s location North San Diego County. Short & long distant transports are available at low cost. Inquire. (If this ad is running the dog is available!) Please respect our volunteer time. Serious inquiries only! IMPORTANT! Please check your Spam/Junk folder periodically for replies. —————— Kira is a very sweet approximately 1yo purebred female Blue Heeler with a cropped tail. She was rescued from a high kill shelter on her last day of life being euthanized for space like most others :( Kira is a very affectionate girl who would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a BFF. She is a bit skittish in chaotic environments and needs a patient owner willing to work with her on boosting her confidence. So she would do best in a quiet place with a small family and little foot traffic. She is submissive, non aggressive. A very happy, joyful soul who is very much an indoor dog and a couch potato. She has not shown any herding tendencies and prefers to lounge around the house with her people and eat good food. Kira is spayed, vaccinated & microchipped. She does have a high prey drive towards running small animals so no cats recommended. Kira prefers to be a Solo dog at home. She will get along with another dog if gets to know that dog but is defensive at first. So nooo dog parks for her. She would do best with a mellow family living in a mellow neighborhood :) Video link of Kira: https://youtu.be/QdZwRhYwHOQ?si=dVwarpamU947QgKd If you are interested to adopt these sweet girl please contact us directly (Important!) with your phone number & detailed information about the adoptive family at: kingofheartsfoundation@hotmail.com For faster response you can submit an adoption interest application below. Dogs location North SD County. (If this ad is running the dog is available!) 1) If you are outside of SoCal, transports are available, short & long distance at low cost. Inquire. If you prefer to meet the dogs prior, welcome to travel. Returns accepted. Foster or foster to adopt programs are available. 2) If you are in SoCal please be prepared to travel 1-4 hours round trip to meet the dogs depending on your location. Short distance transports are available at low cost. Inquire. Please respect our volunteer time. Serious inquiries only. IMPORTANT! Please check your Spam/Junk folder periodically for replies. Direct contact is the best way to reach us at: kingofheartsfoundation@hotmail.com —————— Penny & George are 2 herding breed siblings (Blue Heelers by appearance), who ended up underage at a high kill decease filled shelter where hardly any pups are getting out from. They were lucky to escape that fate. The pups are now 3 months old, healthy, vaccinated, ready for their forever homes. A boy and a girl, adopted separately. They have sweet & friendly personalities, very active, energetic and not yet potty trained. Male is more submissive amongst the 2 but more energetic. Female is smart, responsive, listens, a bit food possessive, should be fed separately or be the only pet at home. They would be best with an active family with yard space who has the time to spend with them. This is a very people oriented BFF type breed, indoor house pets, eager to please and follow their owners. A solitaire consignment with little human interaction or a backyard life will lead to anxiety, frustration, depression, escapism & bad behavior like in any dog. A lack of exercise can also result in weight gain. We are hoping these sweet pups find their forever homes where they can thrive & live happily ever after., Video link of pups: https://youtu.be/c8BNrFq3odo?si=8JHkr1oMhAOZrwF6 If you are interested to adopt one of these pups please contact us directly (Important!) with your phone number & detailed information about the adoptive family at: kingofheartsfoundation@hotmail.com For faster response please submit an adoption interest application below. Story
Red Heeler Mix Spayed Female 2 years old 46 pounds Daffodil is a two-year-old heeler mix looking for a home. This beautiful girl is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is a friendly girl who absolutely loves people and loves to play with pups. Daff is excellent at playing fetch. She has been raised as an indoor/outdoor pup so she appreciates both greatly. She loves going for walks and tumbling around with other doggy friends! Daffodil is a very affectionate dog, she loves attention and giving kisses. Still a young pup, she needs some more training focused on leash manners, but she has been improving. Our family is only rehoming due to severe medical issues, and we want to see her go to a loving home. If you are interested in adopting Daffodil, please email Betzy at belcalbele@gmail.com *PLEASE NOTE: This animal is listed as a courtesy for another organization or private party. This pet has not been evaluated medically or behaviorally by Rancho Coastal Humane Society and is not in our care. Story
Meet Sonny! He is such a handsome boy. Sonny is a two-year, eight-month-old Aussie Shepherd. He is a handsome boy who loves some belly rubs and gives you a paw when he hasn’t been done getting a pet (see picture)! Unfortunately, he’s not great around children or smaller dogs. He has exhibited dominance and aggression, making him a less-than-perfect candidate for our household with an eight-year-old daughter and other kids around. His resource-guarding behavior is the reason he is listed as having special needs. He needs a home where he can be the only dog in an adult household. Sonny needs to be adopted by an experienced dog owner who would be able to identify any signs of potential aggression and take him to training to get rid of that aggression. CHARACTERISTICS Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Independent, Loves kisses With a heavy heart, we’ve decided it would be best if he were to find an environment that gives him a better chance at success and happiness with an experienced dog owner. To meet Sonny, email his foster dad, Joseph, at joseph.e.moser@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE: This is a Courtesy Listing, and ARRF is not familiar with this dog. Please see the contact information at the end of his bio. Thank you.
