Kokoro - The Big-Hearted Playmate Who Loves Life - Available for Foster or Adoption in Illinois Hi, I’m Kokoro, a six-month-old pup whose name means “heart.” That fits me perfectly because I have a big one. I’m playful, friendly, and curious. I love to run, play, and have fun with other dogs, then chill out when it’s time to rest. I’m crate trained and learning all the good puppy manners. I’ll need a family with patience to keep helping me learn how to walk nicely on a leash and grow into the best dog I can be. I love people, and I’m happiest when I’m part of whatever is happening around me. If you’re looking for a puppy with energy, affection, and a loyal heart, I’m ready to join your family. ##2535104##

Story
Slay was saved by a friend from a blizzard out of state and was only about 8 pounds when she was found. I took her in for some time now until my friend got on her feet but she is unable to take her back in and at this point I am unable to care for her longer. Slay is approximately almost 4 years old now and about 50 lbs. She has a sassy personality but is also very protective, confident, independent, and loving. Slay loves her walks, hikes, and playing with her toys. She is independent for the most part as she has been the only pet for some time now. She would thrive with someone experienced with her breed and in a home with a yard where she can exercise as her breed is known for. Slay loves when people show her love and compliment her, which obviously can’t be resisted.

Story
Long story short, I worked with a friend who saved an Australian cattle mix puppy from a blizzard out of state who wouldn’t have made it another day. She wasn’t able to care for her at the time so I took on the responsibility for some time now while she worked some things out. My friend still isn’t able and at this point I am not either. I’ve done all I could but I am at a stand still and really don’t want to take her to a shelter for obvious reasons. Just hoping to find her a good home.

Story
Cosmo: The Freckle-Pawed, Big-Smile Pup Ready for Forever! Available for foster or adoption in Georgia. Will travel for the right home. Hi. I’m Cosmo. Black-and-white cutie. Giant grin. Radar ears. Polka-dot paws. I get a lot of compliments. I came out of a shelter in Georgia, but everything changed when I got rescued. Now I’m safe. I’m loved. I’m ready to find a real family who wants a best friend. I’m about 24 pounds now, and even when I fill out, I’ll probably stay in the 30 to 40 pound range. That’s small enough for your lap but sturdy enough for your adventures. People say I might be a mix of fox terrier, cattle dog, and pointer. That means I’m smart, loyal, playful, and curious. I’m young and still figuring things out. I love to explore, I love people, and I’m clean in my kennel. I used to panic on the leash and flop around like I was in a drama class, but I’ve gotten way better. These days, I just want to go out and sniff the world. With other dogs, I bring the party. I’ve got puppy energy and I play hard. Some dogs love it. Others tell me to chill, and I don’t always pick up on that right away. I do best when someone steps in and gives me a reset. I don’t mean harm. I just get excited. Cats? Yeah, I’m not the best match for them. Sometimes new stuff makes me nervous, especially the vet or being crated. I can get mouthy when I feel trapped. But when I know I’m safe, I settle right in and show my soft side. What I need is someone with a kind heart and a strong voice. Someone who will help me stay busy and teach me how to be the best version of me. If you’re the kind of person who sees potential and sticks around to see it bloom, we might be meant for each other. So, who wants a forever friend that’s fun, loyal, full of life, and pretty easy on the eyes? I’m right here, waiting. ##2510854##

Story
Meet Madison aka "Maddie" Female (soon to be spayed), 6 months old, vaccinated, microchipped. Located near Temecula Personality: Loyal, Loving, Smart, Highly Trainable, Playful, Friendly, Sweet Needs: Cattle Dog Experience or Similar Breed Experience, a "Sweet" playful friend would be great, not dominant with her as she can be shy. Maddie's Story: Maddie was reportedly found on the edge of the road next to her deceased sibling. Maddie would not leave his side and was traumatized by the event. Maddie can be shy at first but like any great cattle dog warms up and will follow you everywhere. VERY LOYAL AND LOVING little girl. She is afraid of getting hurt for some reason so please no home with alot of loud noises, busy household with many kiddos might scare her. She would do best as an absolute companion friend to go places, walks, lifestyle pup who can ranch with you (has been around horses), play with you, adventure with you, love with you. She can be an only dog if her people are outgoing to continue her life experiences, build her confidence, take her places to play with other pups. Contact: Application to meet Maddison can be found at piperspathrescue.org, click on adoption application. Story
Kenai: A Christmas Boy with a Heart Ready to Heal Male • Neutered • DOB 12/25/2014Currently in Boarding – Naperville, IL Kenai was born on Christmas Day, but the gifts of love and stability have never come his way—until now. As the father of this rescued group, Kenai is the most confident and curious of the pack. Like many Australian Shepherds, he’s intelligent, observant, and quick to learn—he’s simply never had the opportunity to be someone’s dog. Kenai was found after years of neglect—not abuse, but a life with little human interaction or affection. Now, he’s timid and fearful, but not broken. With guidance and love, he’ll absolutely thrive. Kenai is neutered, dewormed, fully vetted, and up to date on shots. He’s currently in boarding in Naperville, but what he truly needs is a quiet foster home to decompress, get individualized attention, and learn to enjoy cuddles, leashes, and life inside a home. To build confidence, Kenai must be separated from his pack, as they lean on each other and withdraw from people when kept together. Independent placement will help him blossom. Australian Shepherds are loyal, eager to bond ##2379651##
