Charlie is a 3 1/2 mos. old neutered male Heeler mix who is high-energy, curious, and loves to stay busy. He especially likes interactive toys like Kong's with treats hidden inside & thrives with mental stimulation. He will make a great dog for an active household. Charlie is also crate trained and almost fully potty-trained! Charlie's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, microchip and all current vaccinations. How this pet arrived: Marcello was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on November 4, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Marcello! Marcello is a sweet, affectionate goofball who loves his people and enjoys calm, happy moments together. He loves playing with toys, will bring the ball back to you for a game of fetch and will climb into your lap for a cuddle sesh! He's also a bit of a sensitive guy who appreciates gentle handling and clear communication, so he's looking for a quiet, adult-only home (kids 14+) where he can feel safe and understood. He's had positive interactions on walks with other dogs and is already showing how smart he is by rocking the early stages of muzzle training using positive reinforcement. He also knows "sit", "down" and "paw"! Marcello will do best with a dedicated dog owner who enjoys training and helping this handsome boy build confidence in exchange for a rewarding bond! THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING FOR ANOTHER RESCUE GROUP. TO MEET THIS DOG, CONTACT fciaadoptions@yahoo.com or call (619) 466-9137. Penny is a lovely 46-pound, 18-month-old Cattle Dog mix. DNA revealed that she is mostly Cattle Dog and Lab along with a variety of other breeds. Spayed and current on all vaccinations, she is good on a leash, affectionate, athletic, friendly, and smart. Penny came to us with a birth defect where her eye was too far up into the socket. After consultation with the Eye Clinic, it was recommended that her eye should be removed, and she is making a good recovery. She will need help with house-training with her new family. Penny is a very loving dog and gets along with people and other dogs, but she does not do well with cats. FCIA dogs cannot be adopted out of state.
