Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Honey is 6.5 years old, 75lbs, and 45% German Shepard, 45% Australian Cattle Dog, & 10% other. She's energetic, loving, and very sweet. She loves to play fetch and is very smart, despite thinking she's the size of a lap dog. She prefers to be an only dog (as she gets jealous wanting all the love & kisses to herself), but does get along well with her furbrother, Zeus. She will bark at other dogs on a walk, but is truly just a big baby when she's off leash. She currently lives in a house with a toddler and is great with her. Lastly, she is high energy, so she would not be well suited in an apartment.

Story
How this pet arrived: Blue was brought in by his previous owner on November 15, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Blue, a charming soul who is ready to find his "true blue" family! This handsome fellow is a dream on the leash and his previous owner said that he was both crate trained and potty trained. While he isn't the type of guy who wants to hit the local festival or go everywhere with you - he prefers a peaceful life over the hustle and bustle - he is a world-class co-pilot who absolutely loves car rides and quiet adventures. Blue has a moderate energy level and is a bit of a self-starter when it comes to fun; he'll happily play fetch with you or keep himself entertained with his favorite toys. He is a big fan of affection and will never turn down a good petting session. Blue has shown he can make dog friends with slow, proper introductions, though he'd prefer a home with children 5 years or older who can respect his space (he can get a bit "nippy" when overwhelmed). If you're looking for a loyal, adventurous companion to fill your life with "blue-tiful" memories, come meet this bright boy today! At SDHS:Blue has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Blue is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Black Dapple Weight: 53.6 Age: 6yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Santana was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on May 21, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Santana - the smooth, soulful pup who's ready to rock your world! A little shy at first, Santana prefers a slow jam when meeting new people and places. Give him gentle vibes and calm energy, and he'll warm up faster than a guitar solo. This rockstar's heart is won with treats, toys, and a good game of fetch - he'll chase them with the enthusiasm of a lead guitarist hitting the perfect riff! Once Santana knows you, he'll trade his shy act for snuggles, pets, and all the affection he can give. Santana has had doggy friends in care, but a dog-to-dog intro on site is required to ensure he's a good match if you have a current dog in the home. Because he's a sensitive ballad at heart, he'd do best in a home without young kids under 12. With patience, love, and a steady beat, Santana could become your ultimate bandmate, cuddle companion, and best friend for life! Come meet this little rockstar today - he might just steal the spotlight in your heart! At SDHS:Santana has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Beige Secondary Color: White Weight: 55.8 Age: 6yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Spicoli was brought in by a community member on November 26, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Spicoli! This playful pup cruised into our care as a stray, and we're still getting to know this handsome, bright boy. Spicoli is full of energy and enthusiasm-sometimes a little too much-which can show up as jumpy greetings or strong pulling on leash. With positive-reinforcement training, he learns quickly and loves engaging his busy brain. He can be sensitive with certain types of handling, so partnering with a fear-free veterinarian will help him feel confident during vet visits. Once he warms up, his fun-loving personality shines, especially when treats or activities are involved. Spicoli will thrive with a family who can offer him plenty of mental and physical enrichment. If you're looking for a spirited, trainable companion with a big heart and a bright mind, Spicoli might be your guy. At SDHS:Spicoli has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Spicoli is now ready for his new home!Excitable Dog: Spicoli requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. He's had positive interactions on walks with other dogs and is already showing how smart he is by rocking the early stages of muzzle training using positive reinforcement. Marcello will do best with an experienced dog owner who enjoys training and helping this handsome boy build confidence-he's not for first-time owners, but he is for someone ready for a rewarding bond! With patience and kindness, Marcello is sure to be your best new buddy! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 43 Age: 3yrs 7mths 2wks
