Story
Rocky is a one-year-old, 52 Ib. bundle of love with an incredible mix of breeds (English Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, American Staffordshire Terrier) that make him truly one-of-a-kind! With his soft white coat, expressive eyes, and playful energy, Rocky is sure to steal your heart. This sweet boy was found roaming the streets of Texas before being rescued, and he's now safe in a foster home in Connecticut where he has been since March of 2024. We don't know much about Rocky's past, but he is shy and cautious when meeting new people. However, once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate side shines through. He adores belly rubs, cuddles, and will happily offer you kisses when he's ready. He loves to chew on bones and will come running from any room in the house for a piece of ice when he hears the freezer door open. Rocky just needs time and patience to build trust, so he'd do best with an experienced dog owner. Rocky is currently living with multiple dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be calmer and submissive. He is not good with cats. Rocky is more comfortable around women and would do best in a calm, quiet home with teens and up. This smart boy is both house/crate trained and highly food-motivated, making him a great candidate for further training. His adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in Rocky, please complete our online application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. If you have any questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Dot aka Koda Nicknames - Koda Nick or Koda Bear Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Chow Chow Sex/Age/Weight: Female/3 years old/55 lbs. Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, dewormed, flea/tick/parasite-free, and microchipped House/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes. Koda loves her crate! When it comes to nap time or settling in for the evening Koda goes right in for a snooze. Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/No/Yes. Koda does very well with medium to large sized dogs and has two furry siblings she loves to wrestle with. She is not comfortable with smaller dogs and cats so it is best that she be the one and only or have a medium to large size dog to hang out with. She loves children of all ages especially when she can cuddle up with them and get belly rubs. Training: Koda is working on her commands and manners. She knows sit, down, and paw, and walks great on a leash. She will need someone to continue to train her so she can be the best girl for you! Working on: Koda is quite the snuggle bunny and sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. She is learning that you can cuddle with your humans without sitting on their lap. She can be vocal about things she wants - dinner, attention, etc., She is an American Idol in the making and is in the process of learning to sing silently and will need someone to continue teaching her it is okay to sing to yourself. Koda has trust issues when it comes to dinner time and prefers to enjoy her meal in her crate. Her foster family is slowly introducing her to others at meal time. Things I like: People! She loves to be around her humans. Snuggling up with them is one of her favorite pastimes. When she is not cuddling up, you will find her playing and running around in the backyard with her siblings or having fun time in the water. Things I don’t like: Being alone or ignored for long periods of time. Koda would love someone who works from home or who is only gone from home for short periods of time. As much as she loves playing in the water, bath time is not her favorite. She doesn’t understand it helps keep her beautiful coat from shedding so much. She will need a daily brushing to help with her shedding as well. Ideal home: Koda would do best where she can get lots of exercise, play time, and attention. A family who has time to be committed to her would be best, preferably with a backyard where she she could hang out with a furry sibling (medium to large sized dogs only). Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Latte Breed: Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, and Pit Bull Terrier Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Male, DOB 04/16/24, 20-25 pounds Vetting: Neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention House trained/Crate Trained: Latte has started on house training. He’s not 100% yet, but he’s doing good. He’s also had some crate training. Dogs/Cats/Children: Latte hasn’t been exposed to cats or children yet. But he’s great with other dogs and people. Energy Level: Medium – He loves running and playing, inside and out. But he’s also a snuggle bug who loves spending time with his people or even better, in their laps. Before FAR/My History: Latte and his littermates were born a few days after their mom arrived at the shelter. Two days later they moved to their current foster home. Training Status/Commands I know: He’s good with come and sit (especially with the enticement of a treat). Things I like: Latte is a typical happy, social pup. He loves running, playing and chilling with his family (people, puppies and dogs). Things I don’t like: Not much! Perhaps just a typical puppy fear of sudden, loud noises. Things that make my humans happy: Latte is so darn cute! And he loves sharing kisses and cuddling with his people. Ideal Family/Home: Latte will do best in a furever home without young children or submissive dogs. He will need an adopter who is committed to training him and working with him on a daily basis. Latte has displayed some instances of resource guarding, so he needs an experienced, dog-savvy human who will will give him clear and consistent boundaries regarding feeding and toys. Special Notes: Four of Latte’s littermates have already been adopted – it’s his and Cappuccino’s turns now! Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is in San Antonio, TX and is available to be transported to your location with Your TX Rescue Connection transport. The fee includes adoption and transportation fee.
