Story
Piper is an active girl who knows basic commands, is house and crate trained and is working on manners. She does better with routine and boundaries. She is hesitant and guarded when first meeting people, however, once she calms down she quickly warms up to new people. She is very food motivated and will do anything for a treat - so that is definitely a tool for you to use! Piper needs socialization with people and dogs and requires an experienced handler. She and her foster brother play well and also lay around chilling. She has some resource guarding with food, which is very common with shelter dogs given their situation and usually very easily trained out. She will be a great dog for an active couple. Hiking, ball play, agility training, road trips and farmers market could all be in her future. Her water skills are unknown at this time. Fenced yard and dog savvy folk are needed, along with a desire to continue training this sweet girl and exposing her to the big world!! Piper is located in Naples. Applications are found at ewenityfarmsbch.com.

Story
Flower formally known as Bullet. We gave her a re-brand since the name Bullet does her no favors, really she's just a sweet stinker. She is a very active heeler mix, makes a great walking or running companion. She would do best with a single person or couple without young children, sometimes she plays extremely rough, and doesn't seem to realize her strength. She still needs to learn manners and presence with other dogs. As of right now, she would do best being the only dog, and would thrive one on one. She has been dog reactive, but maybe with socialization, that could change. She's very smart and needs the opportunity to learn boundaries and manners. She is in need of someone whom is patient and willing to put the training into her, she would also make a great sport dog, he has some awesome jumping skills. She was in Okeechobee shelter, this girl is in need of a heeler savvy/ active dog home that can provide her with mental stimulation and activities to tone down all that energy, combine that with some basic training and she will be an awesome girl!! She is very loving, sweet gives kisses. She wants to play so bad, and have personal attention. She is a bit mouthy, barks at you for play time, she also likes to place her mouth on your arm, she just needs re-direction with a toy. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, she just wants to play and kiss on you. Get your application in quick to adopt this sweet girl at ewenityfarmsbch.com.. more pix to come!!!

Dierks is a beautiful high energy boy who loves to play! He plays nicely with other high energy dogs, and is not submissive nor is he aggressive in his play. He will be a good prospect for whatever dog sport you choose to pursue with him, but he does need basic training first. That being said, he is eager to please, is affectionate and gets along very well with unfamiliar dogs. No interest in cats whatsoever. Due to his high energy, size, and strength, would not recommend him to be around young children. Currently fostered in SE Alabama.

Story
PINTO made it to Florida!! We were asked to help him find a furever home. That should be NO issue as he is super cute!! Here is his info: Pinto is around 8 months old. Small Heeler mix and maybe some dachshund, he is a sniffer!, He is house broke, kennel trained, and likes other animals big or small. He just wants all the love, his family could no longer have him so he has been staying in a home in Texas who can no longer keep him. Other heeler rescues in Texas are full. He was said to be scared of Men, however he loves the guy who transported him and now is fostering him, He just needs someone with a little bit of patience, lots of love, some dog savvyness and give him a chance! He loves to have his chest scratched and rubbed and will fall asleep in your arms doing so. Sometimes this little dude will get the zoomies, and gives face licks with love nibbles, which are hard to not love. He just wants to play and love! He does good with horse and goats too! He is around 25 pounds and will not get any bigger. He needs to be neutered.

Story
Puppy Available!!! Born: 5/1/2024 Rocky is a very sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix in need of a forever home! He is a fantastic pup, 40lbs (still growing) and will probably grow to be 45-50lbs at full size. Rocky is very food motivated and has been picking up on his training quickly! He is housebroken and has learned to ring a bell by the door when he needs to go out. He is also crate trained and knows "sit" and "down", but would still benefit from some basic obedience training. He has a lot of puppy energy, does fairly well with children but can get a bit nippy when overexcited. He would thrive most with a lot of space to run or a very active household. Although he is always in play mode, he has an off switch and loves to snuggle with his person before bedtime. He has a high prey drive and likes to chase cats, might do best in a cat free home or with a dog-savvy cat. He is happiest in the company of other dogs and when he's with his person. He is a Velcro dog and will want to follow you around the house and be your adventure buddy always! He has the biggest ears and an even bigger heart. Rocky has a ton of potential and with the correct guidance will be an excellent addition to any family! Currently fostered in Englewood, FL.

Story
Please welcome Loxie to Ewenity Farm. She is a very very scared 2 yr old heeler mix. Curious about attention and people, yet very scared about the world, she will take some time to open up and start gaining confidence. Currently fostered in Bradenton with a temporary foster. She is in need of a foster that has some dog savvy, fenced yard, and another kind patient dog, not in your face variety. She will blossom in a quiet environment. No we are not housebroken, leash broken, we are just broken and will need time to be fixed. If anyone can help please let us know! Thanks!! PUPDATE Loxie nka Pan is doing better slowly and exploring. She was scared at the vets but allowed handling and all care could be given including nail trim. Pan has received all her vax and is heartworm positive. We will be treating her slow kill method, which is nothing more than heartgard every month for a year, then retesting. Please consider fostering this sweet girl for a few months to help her along the way to a forever home!! PUPDATE Red Pan is doing well!! She is very submissive, but loves people. Loves other dogs, plays well with them!! We are learning to walk on lead and do some very basic commands. While she is submissive she is also curious and is very polite amongst other dogs. You can see sheer joy on her face when she is running. She does seem to like the water, so she may be a water baby! She does not yet know how to play with toys, but will easily learn. Fostered in Bradenton and ready to go to a new home with folk that can be patient loving and consistent, and let this pup blossom at her own speed. It will not take long!! Another kind dog is a must! She is still learning not to jump up on people so toddlers should be a no.. Older kids will be okay....
