Story
Murray is a little on the shy side, but super sweet after introductions are made! He wants to curl up around your legs for cuddles. Worried about a wagging tail knocking over your valuables? Look no further - Murray doesn't have a tail! Previous adopter states not good with cats and may need to be only dog in home so a meet and greet is recommended.

Story
Meet Cooper and Granite! This bonded pair chose each other as lifelong buddies while being fostered many moons ago. They are seniors now at about 11 years old, but both health and activity wise you’d never know it. Before you read on and fall in love with one of them…please know they MUST stay together. No exceptions…it was a promise made to their owner before she passed a year ago. They have been with their original foster mom since then. She is having to rehome them due to new care for family and family dogs. Let’s start with Granite, who is basically the perfect dog! She’s sweet, and shy, so very gentle and humble. Totally housetrained. Cooper. Well, he’s Cooper and he’s special! He is such a goofball and can be opinionated when he’s ready for food. Or to get in your lap. Or to give you kisses. Unfortunately, Cooper cannot be around cats and he’s dog selective, although Granite loves everyone and everything. But again, they MUST stay together. These two dogs are as special as their human was. Cooper has a few isms, but don’t we all?! They do need a minimum 5-foot fence that is absolutely secure along the ground. They have been known to be escapees, but treats every time they come in and some managed and/or limited time outside has addressed that. They are both good on the leash and love LOVE to go on car rides. The person or people who get to adopt this awesome pair will find their life very enriched indeed…they are just so…stoic and loving and fun. We are unable to answer every email.  If you are interested in our pups, please fill out an application and we will contact you.  Thank you for your patience and understanding while we receive quite a few applications on our dogs and have to match each one carefully for their safety and what we feel will the best fit for the pup.   Visit our page at www.pupandcatco.com Please consider signing up for recurring donations on our website https://www.pupandcatco.com/donate/ Thank youVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities. Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Roxy is a 6 month old pure bred Australian Cattle dog/ Blue Heeler pup. She will be around 35-38 pounds full grown. We are searching for a wonderful home and family for her to fit in. She’s sweet and super energetic which is why an experienced adopter is suggested. Roxy needs a fenced in yard to run and burn off her energy. We currently live in an apartment and cannot give her what she needs. Her breed is meant for work. She loves everyone and all animals! She loves toys and balls. She also loves kids but she gets really excited and likes to jump up sometimes. When traveling, she’s notorious for getting car sick unfortunately so her vet prescribed her anti motion sickness medication for trips. She’s caught up on all of her shots and she is also taking heart worm prevention medication. We will supply some food, leash, some of her favorite toys, and a metal cage/kennel. We will also provide her veterinary information.

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Lucy loves people, but asks for a few minutes of getting to know you. She is great with older kids (10 and 7) in foster, but she doesn’t know her size and might knock over a small child. She was kept outside and mistreated for most of her life, so she will need some patience and understanding as she adjusts.  Lucy is very smart and eager to please, so I expect her to take to training well. She is mostly house trained and will sit comfortably in a crate or a room by herself. Although she does prefer to be where the action is. More than anything, she needs positive reinforcement and love. Lucy doesn’t quite know how to approach other dogs for play, so she barks at first. But she can be very submissive once she feels safe. Basic obedience and social training are all she needs to grow into a perfect, loving companion. Age: 2 Yrs Old Weight: 55 lbs Temperament: Gets along with dogs with proper introduction and older kids Training: Working on house-training; would benefit from basic/social training Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions about Lucy email: marynimphius@aol.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.June 1, 2023, 5:15 pm
