Story
Hello! My name is Autumn, and I am the ultimate people-lover. I am incredibly affectionate and focused on my human friends, ready to be both your engaging activity partner and your most dedicated cuddle buddy. I love everyone I meet, and making new human friends is my favorite pastime! I have a wonderful, balanced energy level. I am always happy to go for a long sniff-ari walk, where I enjoy spying on squirrels and other critters—my curiosity is endless! I am already well-trained, boasting excellent leash manners and impeccable food manners. When the adventure is over, I transition instantly into a "super cuddly" mode, ready for deep snuggles on the couch. I am very attentive and focused on people, which makes me a joy to live with. I'd be a wonderful fit for an active family looking for a loving companion. While I adore humans, I can be anxious around new dogs and need patient, very slow introductions. I currently live with cats and am curious but not aggressive towards them; I return easily to my person if a cat seems uncomfortable. A patient, loving home that is ready for endless affection is my dream! Apply on the MACS Friends website!November 17, 2025, 9:23 pm

Story
Toby was rescued off the Urgent list from being euthanized! He is the friendliest boy! He is a year old, and we believe he's a Heeler X Husky mix. Toby enjoys giving kisses and giving you his paw, and will occasionally jump up to give you a hug but he is very gentle. He listens well to No and we think he'd be an easily trainable dog. He doesn't make much noise and doesn't howl. He does amazing with everyone, even kids. Toby is potty trained as long as he goes out two-three times a day. He walks well on a harness/will pull with just the collar. He was animal tested at the shelter, and did well with other dogs. Toby doesn't like being crated but gets destructive when being left alone, when being alone he started to tear up our carpet. Unfortunately, being in a rented townhome this isn't the best situation for him. We love him and think he is probably bored, he may need another dog (or more active person). A fenced in yard/somewhere for him to run/or a playmate would be great for him!

Story
He is a very smart dog, very kind natured and is easy to manage. He is not neutered so has been urinating on my dad’s stuff in his garage and my dad is upset about it and wants to get rid of him. He is very energetic and can be dominant but not aggressive. He is very sweet and should be easily trained, had him since he was a puppy, he is 4 years old in march. I purchased him with certificates of his breed but lost them over the years when I had moved. Very active dog, you could say he is a dog that does well with having task. He is a purebred Australian hound dog and is really just a ball of joy. I’m hoping to find someone who would be very loving and caring toward him and be able to provide a great new home for him. I don’t want to let him go but given the circumstances I have to and I want to make sure my little guy gets the best home possible! He was raised with lots of love and care Says he needs to be neutered in 30 days of being adopted per website

Story
Beatrice’s journey began at our local shelter, where she arrived with a severely injured leg. After careful evaluation and X-rays, it was clear that the kindest option was amputation—to give her a pain-free start to the next chapter of her life. And wow, has she embraced it with joy! This one-year-old sweetheart may have just three legs, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. Weighing in at a petite 30 lbs, Beatrice is all wagging tail and playful energy, especially when romping around with her foster siblings. Her gentle soul shines through—she may be shy when you first meet her, but once she warms up, she’ll steal your heart in an instant. Beatrice is fully vetted and ready to meet her forever family. She would thrive in a loving home that celebrates her spirit and understands the beauty of resilience. She’s proof that even with a rough start, joy always finds a way.   ##2354860##
