Story
Jovie is a 6-9 month old Australian Cattle Dog/ Fox Terrier Mix. Currently weighing in at a whopping 17lbs, this little girl is packed with fun-loving entertainment! The vet estimates she will max out around 20-25lbs, so she is the perfect size for loading up and enjoying a road trip together! Jovie loves car rides and adventures. Considering these breeds, Jovie would do best in an active home with a family who enjoys outdoor activities. Another dog in the home who matches her size, energy and eagerness to play would be an added bonus! Jovie sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, is mostly house-trained, and already knows sit! She is eager to learn and very intelligent. Jovie has had her first round of age appropriate vaccinations, and will be fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped before adoption is finalized. Jovie is ready to get to know her new family now! Jovie is available as a foster to adopt ASAP! Jovie is still a puppy. All of the behaviors such as chewing, getting into things are based on her age. She needs supervision and training as all puppies do. Jovie is definitely mixed with working dogs who are bred to herd. This shows in her eagerness to chase squirrels, birds, etc so she would escape a hole in a fence if not supervised in order to "herd" whatever small animal she has her sights set on. Age: 6-9 months  Weight: 17 lbs Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW testing scheduled. Temperament:  great with dogs and cats , not tested with small kids. Training: House-trained, crate-trained but not a fan.  For questions about Sadye, please email seclaxton@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. May 10, 2024, 2:45 pm

Story
Todd Phox is an exceptionally smart and high-energy guy.  We believe he is a mix of a Carolina Dog and a Cattle Dog/Heeler. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.   Todd Phox is super athletic and loves to wrestle with other dogs - sometimes, he plays a little roughly, but he responds well to corrections. Both of his breeds are very energetic dogs, and Todd Phox is no exception. He absolutely loves his walks and walks very well on a leash. Are you a runner?  Todd will be happy to run with you.  Todd Phox is highly intelligent and enjoys training, including learning new tricks and commands.  He already knows, "sit, down, and shake" and is an extremely quick study.  He is also crate and house-trained.  Because of  Todd Phox's energy, having a fenced yard will benefit your family and Todd as it provides an outlet. But Todd Phox does know how to relax - once he is tired, he will hang out on his foster family's deck while watching over his yard or chewing on his toys, but be careful with your shoes, or he might chew those too!   Because he is part Carolina Dog, he is independent and not overly affectionate.  But when he wants to play, he pokes you with his nose to check on you or to engage you to play with him; he likes tug of war, fetch, and overall ball throwing, etc., and he loves to interact with his people. Todd Phox's best home is with a family without small children because he can be jumpy. But he would love to jump into your heart.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW         An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           May 10, 2024, 3:05 pm
