Very easy, attentive, well trained. Tyson is a great companion to anyone looking for a more calm and relaxed dog. He loves to be snuggled and lay next to you on the couch. He still has a good bit of energy to go and play outside. He is super friendly with other dogs and people. Tyson is a very loving dog that needs a home that will show him the same amount of love. Tyson is very smart, and is very attentive to his owners commands. He responds to come, sit, lay, shake. He has a very calm temper. He may be 10 but he's very healthy and has a ton of life left, he just won't overwhelm you with it. He's the perfect speed. Age: 10 years WT: 48lbs. Temperament: Good with all people, and dogs Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative and on prevention Training: House trained, crate trained, Tyson is very smart, he responds to come, sit, lay, shake. At just around 9 weeks old and 5.5 lbs (as of last week’s vet visit), Cookie is the perfect mix of tiny and adorable. Her breed is a mystery, but we suspect she’ll grow to be a medium-sized bundle of love. Cookie is a professional cuddler who adores both people and dogs. She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training and leash walking, so she’ll need a patient family committed to helping her succeed. Because of this, we’re looking for a home with a fenced-in yard and a schedule that allows for frequent potty breaks. She’d likely do great with respectful children who understand boundaries and puppy mouthiness (probably 5+ years old). Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon.
