Story
Whisper is just the sweetest spotted lady around. She is great with other dogs, both large and small, a mature lady of 40 lbs, 6-8 years old, still full of energy, but past all the puppy behavior. No household accidents, chewing, or whining. She is content to spend the afternoon playing in the yard, chilling in her crate (door open or closed), or snuggling up to you on the couch. She is good with either a dog door or with asking to be let out. She loves to play with other dogs, not so much with toys. She loves treats and loves to eat but is not food aggressive. She’s learning to leave her foster sister’s dish alone. On a leash, she is learning not to pull. Due to her history, she does get nervous around roads, but she loves to ride in the car!  Give Whisper a little attention, and she’s wiggling all over the place. She does not jump up and does not get on the furniture. She has been trained to sit, but it’s so hard to sit when someone is loving on you! In person she looks like an Aussie, the vet put blue heeler and we’ve had apps and friends say setter mix. So who really knows?? And who cares; she’s a good girl either way! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   April 23, 2024, 11:19 am

Story
Likes: Treats Squeaky toys Snuffaries Enrichment activities Fetch Playing with other dogs Dislikes: Seeing other dogs while on a leash Strangers in his home without his people present Noisy living spaces Sharing a home with another dog Laszlo is a 2.5yo labradoodle/blue heeler. He is a very sweet and loyal boy. He does, however, have his quirks. He has resource guarding tendencies and can be very leash reactive. I believe Laszlo would do best in a single dog home, with a big yard/land to run around in. I also believe he would do best in a kid free/older kid home due to his excitability. A big plus for Laszlo would be the ability to live and run around on farm, due to being half cattle dog.❤️😊

Meet Nash! Nash came from a farm where he and his siblings were not treated very nice. They came to us a month ago and have been learning to love and trust humans. Memphis is a 9 month old energetic, fun loving boy who is just waiting for his person to tell him what to do next! He is a little timid and it takes him a bit to warm up to you. He loves cuddles, belly rubs and snuggling with his person on the couch! He loves to follow his person around the house and wait for what he will be doing next! Nash loves to explore and play outside and loves playing with sticks! He also loves running around in the back yard with all of his puppy siblings! Nash is in a foster home with his brother, Memphis and several other pups and does amazing! Nash loves everyone including children and loves being with his people! He is potty trained and crate trained and is great with other dogs and cats. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash, loves walks and he will need regular exercise to ensure he doesn't get bored. He will need a fenced in yard so that he is able to explore. Story
Meet Ridge! Ridge is a Mini Australian Shepard Pit mix who was surrendered by a family unable to care for an accidental litter. He came to us with two siblings, Raine and Canyon and they are just as sweet! He is 6 months old, and approximately 20lbs. Ridge is so unbelievably cute and his foster family describes him as sweet and playful! He loves playing with his toys and bones and also loves snuggling up next to his people! He loves playing in the back yard with his puppy brothers and getting lots of love and kisses!!! Ridge is a pretty active puppy, so he will need regular walks to help him be his best! A fenced yard would also be best for him so that he can have plenty of running and play time! Ridge loves all people including children and other dogs! He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and he absolutely loves them! He has potty training almost mastered, with few accidents. He is still working on alerting his fosters when he needs to go potty. He does not mind being in his crate and goes in calmly and sleeps through the night! If you are ready to add this sweet puppy boy to your family, please click on the link below and fill out an application. There is a $25 application fee. https://www.coopersafeplace.org/application-page Ridge's adoption fee is $450.00.
