Story
Meet Tatiana! 🌟This stunning 2-year-old, 40-pound Carolina Dog/Cattle Dog mix is ready to start a new chapter—and she’s hoping it’s with you! With her graceful frame and regal features, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a little Pharaoh Hound in her lineage too. (We’d love if her future family did a DNA test and shared the results!) Tatiana was rescued just in time with her puppies when their time was up at the shelter. She was a devoted mama, and now that her pups are weaned and thriving, it’s finally her turn to be doted on. She’s gentle, loving, and friendly with everyone she meets—dogs and humans alike! Tatiana loves playing and romping with her doggy friends but also has a calm, sweet side that makes her the perfect companion. Ready to give a deserving mama the happily-ever-after she’s earned? Tatiana can’t wait to meet you.

🌟🐾 Meet Kennadee– The Rockstar Tripod! This gorgeous girl is an 18-month-old Aussie/Red Heeler mix who doesn’t let missing a leg slow her down one bit! Kennadee weighs about 38 pounds and has the biggest heart and happiest spirit. 💉 Spayed and ready for her forever home 🏠 Crate trained, fully potty trained & potty pad trained 🐾 Loves other dogs (just a little too focused on the tiny ones sometimes!) 🚗 Loves car rides & walks 🛋 Loves to be rocked in a chair and snuggle with her humans 🐕‍🦺 Sleeps all night & alerts when she needs a potty break 💪 Takes a daily supplement to keep her strong and active Kennadee is the total package — smart, loyal, playful, and full of love. She’s the kind of dog that makes every day brighter! She loves belly rubs, zoomies in the yard, and being near her people. Kennadee would do best in a home without young children. Story
Meet Gucci! 🐾 Gucci is a 4-year-old, 30-pound cattle dog mix with the soul of a wise old friend. She’s the ultimate companion for anyone who loves cozy afternoons—her favorite activities include sunbathing, lounging on the couch, and snuggling up with her person. Gucci gets along well with other dogs, though she prefers to keep things low-key rather than playful. She’s also great with cats, typically giving them a respectful “ignore.” House-trained and calm when left alone, Gucci is the perfect dog for a relaxed home where she can spend her days chilling in comfort. This sweet girl will always greet you with a wagging tail when you walk in the door, ready to share her love (and maybe a cozy spot on the couch). Gucci is looking for a forever home where she can be the queen of lounging—and the ultimate cuddle buddy.

HOW TO ADOPT: This dog is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- A very confident girl who loves to run and play outside - Loves all toys! - Super smart lady who already knows sit, spin and shake - Does well in the car - Foster family says she does great in her kennel and is happy to go inside for a mid-day nap - LOVES playing with the other dogs in her foster home and is always with her dog foster sister - Has done okay with cats in her foster home - Has lots of puppy energy, so would do best in a home where everyone is old enough to be okay with that All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 11.9 Age: 0yrs 3mths 3wks

Meet Gretle (aka Liza Jean) This adorable little masked bandit will steal your heart and your blanket- and no she is NOT wearing a mask! That is her gorgeous coloring!! She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
