Story
This dog found its way to our house a few months ago, we’ve been trying to find her a good home since, because we currently have chickens outside and a cat inside that she wouldn’t get along with. I would love to find a home for her with someone who either has another small dog or no other pets, before the winter gets too harsh. She is super sweet and she loves to snuggle, and has spent lots of time with another small dog we have. We have had to keep her in an enclosure or in a specific room of the house most of the time we’ve had her as she has tried to run away or go after our chickens.

Story
We are torn about what to do with our dog, Jake. He isn't getting along with our other male dog. We sadly need to rehome him. We hate the thought of giving him up but its not safe for him or our other dog while they're in the same house. Jake is very sweet and playful. He does good with cats. Please let me know if you can adopt him or know someone who is looking to adopt. Thank you! 😭 Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Size: Medium but on the smaller end Age: 3 years old He is neutered and up to date on shots.

Story
Arlo is an incredibly loving, cuddly, energetic & playful dog with a big personality & heart once he’s bonded to you. He is loyal & he will follow you, every step you take. *Arlo aka Bubba *Blue Heeler *3 years old *Can NOT live in a home with or be around other animals (he can go on walks and walk PAST other animals but can’t make physical contact) *No children. Though he’s made huge leaps with our child as she’s grown , he just isn’t meant to be in a home with a small child or infant. *MUST have a fenced in yard with a lot of room to RUN and play frisbee *the fence must be a privacy fence if the neighbors have animals *Would do best in a home with a couple who does not plan to have children & who likes to go on hikes & walks & outdoor adventures & has energy to play with him. *Would do best in a home where one of the people is working from home or is home a lot

Story
Louie is looking for a new home because his owner does not have a good space or work schedule for him. He would like to find someone who has more time for a young dog.His owner has relayed this information:Louie really loves people. He has been very excited and happy to meet any new person he has been around. He currently lives with two cats and does well with them. He does not live in a home with kids and has had few interactions. However, the interactions he has had, have gone well and no signs of fear or aggression were observed. Louie can get overwhelmed with high energy dogs or dogs that play intensely and as a result we avoid scenarios like this for him (i.e. dog parks). However, he really enjoys other dogs. The best dog match for him would be a moderate to low energy dog, that gives him space when needed. He is currently potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He knows sit, down, stay, shake, and drop it. He is a very smart boy and would happily learn a new trick for his adopters. Louie's favorite games are tug of water and running after water from the hose.Louie is able to live in an apartment, however the adopter will need to find ways to release his energy if they have no access to a fenced in yard. I do not think Louie needs an experienced adopter as he does very well with training. He is up to date on vaccinations and currently on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He is also neutered and already microchipped. So all he needs now is a home with someone who has time to give a young dog lots of fun and attention.Louie~born~July 2023_____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please use these links for our:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.org

Story
This fella is Hector! Hector and his 3 siblings ended up at the county Animal Control as small puppies. They came to Animal Harbor in January of 2024 and have been with us ever since. All puppies in this litter are happy go lucky pups that are super social and just want love! Hector is a 9 month old male Cattle Dog Mix and is 40lbs. All pets that are adopted out of Animal Harbor are fully vetted. This means they are spayed/neutered and receive a Rabies, yearly vaccinations, preventatives for heartworms as well as flea/tick, and microchipped along with any additional vetting required to keep them healthy and happy. Dogs/puppies 6 months and above are all heartworm tested (and treated if needed). Animal Harbor is located in Middle TN, but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
