Mia is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She was inherited and I simply do not have the time to ensure she is getting her needs met. She has severe separation anxiety and pretty strong food aggression when other animals are present. She loves attention and will gladly sit in your lap, on you, or be happily carried around. She is a big baby. She is extremely territorial. She is a herding breed and will try to be lead dog if other dogs are around which can lead to fights. She does not like children or cats and can be aggressive towards both. She has an aversion to kennels and will not tolerate dog beds. She is housebroken but can get a little excited. She loves walks and just being around adults. I feel with the right owner, she could be an amazing companion.

Welcome, I'm Eve, a wonderful female dog who's new to PAR! I'm a high-energy girl who loves to keep busy, but I also know how to relax and entertain myself with a good toy or bone. One of my favorite things is being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention. I'm also a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs; I get so excited to interact and play with them! I'm still learning how to be the best doggie playmate, but I'm a quick study and can't wait to show you all my skills. Eve is scheduled for her spay surgery on January 9th. Foster location: Eagle, Michigan Meet Axel! Axel is a super handsome 1.5 year old Cattle Dog mix that is looking for his forever home. He is a very social boy who loves playing with his foster siblings and running with them in the yard, going for walks and meeting new people and then cuddling up on the couch at night with his foster mom. Axel has been attending doggy daycare and loves it! Axel is house and crate trained and walks good on a leash. He is great about chewing on his toys and bones and not getting into things he shouldn’t. Axel would enjoy an active home with another young dog to play with, he has really bonded with his foster siblings and enjoys running and playing with them. Kids make Axel nervous so he is looking for a home without children. Axel is a very sweet and smart boy and catches onto new things quickly, he is young and ready to learn! In order to set him up for success we would recommend his family enroll him in a positive reinforcement training class upon adoption. Axel’s adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, dewormed, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
