Story
Charlie is a 9 year old purebred Australian Shepherd. He would be best suited in a home without other dogs or small children. Ideally, I would love him to go to a farm or a home with a big yard, but he would be just as happy in any home. He’s a very happy dog and very smart.

Story
Rocky is a 1.5-year-old neutered red tri Australian Shepherd who is up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, and highly motivated by food and toys. He is energetic, intelligent, and loves activities like Frisbee. Rocky does well with cats and currently lives successfully with another male dog. As a true herding breed, Rocky needs daily physical exercise, mental stimulation, clear structure, and consistent leadership. He has basic obedience training (sit, down, place, come, leash manners) and responds well to marker cues, but will benefit from continued practice and follow-through, especially around distractions. Rocky requires an adult-only home with experienced owners who understand canine body language and thoughtful introductions. He can be reactive when people come to the door and may use herding behaviors to create space if he feels uncomfortable. When properly introduced and allowed to warm up at his own pace, he becomes affectionate, playful, and enjoys cuddling.

Story
Meet Teddy — an energetic, intelligent boy who’s looking for the right person to help him thrive. Teddy is very high-energy and can become easily overstimulated, especially around other dogs and people. He’s been working with a trainer, who notes that Teddy the kind of dog with a lot of insecurity beneath his big personality. True to his herding-breed roots, Teddy likes to use his mouth, so continued training and clear boundaries are important. He will do best with an experienced, patient adopter who can provide a consistent routine, clear communication, and a “job” or structured outlet to help channel his energy. With the right guidance, structure, and commitment, Teddy has the potential to make great progress and become a rewarding companion for the right home. - Around 1-1.5 years old - Currently around 45lbs - Needs slow introductions with dogs and cats - Would do best in a home with kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. Story
Ember is 4 years old, spayed, house trained, and up to date on vaccines. She is very loving and cuddly and loves going on walks and playing fetch. Ember has a best friend, Asher, who is a German Shepherd/Husky mix. They are very close and our preference is to keep them together if possible. Asher is nearly 4 years old. He is well behaved, house trained, and up to date on vaccines. Asher has a sweet and playful personality and enjoys your attention, but he is also content with chilling out on his bed and just being in your company. Both dogs do well by cats and young children. We are not rehoming for any behavioral or health issues. They are great dogs that just deserve more time and attention than we can provide. $350 for both dogs together or $250 for just Ember. Includes all their supplies, treats, toys, electric fence base and collars if desired!
