I'm a 7-month-old pup with a big heart and a gentle soul. When I first got to the shelter I was pretty shy, but my foster family really helped me come out of my shell! I love having dog friends and could play with them all day-chasing, wrestling, and just being a goofy pup. I'm playful and super loving once I feel comfortable, but I can be a little shy at first. Give me a bit of patience and some kindness, and I'll be your loyal shadow and best buddy.

Story

Cache is a wonderful boy who LOVES to snuggle, is wicked smart, and delights in taking long hikes and adventures. Cache has been trained well, knows many commands, kennel trained and is fully potty trained. Cache will be 5 this November and has been with me since he was 7 months old. The issue? Cache was attacked by a dog about 2 years ago out on hike and has since escalated to attacking other dogs in the home. Dogs he grew up with and loved. On a leash, he is not really reactive, but the moment he has to share space with another dog inside he quickly starts lashing out and attacking without remorse. I have taken him to training classes, tried thunder coats, and even some meds to keep him calm. The issue has only escalated despite all efforts. Cache would do AMAZING in a household with an active person or family with no other dogs. Cache lives with cats and has no issues with them at all, is even a little scared of them at times when they try to play with him.

July 2024: Noah is growing more confident. He still needs another dog to play with and follow. He is crate trained and needs a 6' fence. He is walking on a leash and had his first outing to Lowes this week and did great. Feb 2024: Noah is a happy high stepping 11 month old pup. He evens smiles. That being said he will need an experienced adopter, secure 6' fence, and an active playmate. He will adjust so much better with a playful dog to follow. He is totally crate trained and loves being outside playing with toys. He has been fearful since he was 2 months old Found alone in a road in Eastern KY. He walks fine on a leash and is very friendly at our public events at Petsmart. At the foster home, he is afraid of strangers. He will just need time and patience and will be an outstanding friendly playful pet. Update 9/5/23 His DNA is in and the picture included. He is a happy pup who high steps with happiness. He will do much better with a playmate and dog to follow. He is crate trained. Update 8/15/23 Noah is growing! he is doing well, getting used to being handled. He loves other dogs and needs a companion to follow and play with. He is doing great with crate training and needs to be gotten out quickly in the morning to avoid accidents. He smiles and high steps in excitement when you talk to him now! So cute. Probably going to be around 30-35 lbs. He is 6 months old and 25 lbs. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. Jasper will be 1 in April 2026 and was adopted privately from Troy Ohio at 3 months Mother was Aussie/ Pit , father was all Aussie. Crate trained, rarely barks, has been socialized with 3 cats, parrot, and chihuahua and baby/ toddler. Has had fenced backyard and just needs more home space and attention and exercise than we can give. Very loving and just wants love and does need some training with walks. With toddler- just difficult to give him attention he needs. Hope to find him a loving home. Neutered and shots up to date through March 2026. This is my daughter’s dog, and I would take him in a minute if I was younger and had a fenced yard and had more space in my small condo. He just wants lots of love. He is a good dog and hope to find him a forever home. He would be great companion for another dog as well. Large crate included in adoption fee

Leia is a 6 year old Blue Merle Australian shepherd who is a fierce bullet of jumping energy who is very friendly and loving with people, loves to chase cats (playfully), play with any kind of toy, and loves to chew hard on bones. She loves to tug with you but prefers to win. She is a jumper and very excitable and will sneak jumping kisses quicker than you are ready for. She follows me everywhere and has to know exactly what I'm doing at all times and is a very loyal and loving dog. She absolutely loves to run and chase anything. She is very eager to please and is well trained to alert you when she needs to go potty outside. She loves to be brushed. She will cuddle with you but isn't really a lap dog. She's more of the be near you all the time kind of dog but loves the pets and attention. She does get jealous for attention which leads into the important part about her - she is not great with other dogs. I moved in with my boyfriend and she is not getting along with his dogs.
