WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🤍❄️ Meet Artic — A Gentle Soul with Adventure in His Heart ❄️🤍 (11 Months • ~50 lbs • Male • Full-Time Best Boy) If loyalty had a face (and four paws), it would look a lot like Artic. This handsome 11-month-old, 50-pound sweetheart is the kind of dog who doesn’t just walk with you — he walks for you, always checking in, always nearby, always quietly making sure his person is okay. Artic is wonderfully balanced: playful when it’s time to have fun, calm and affectionate when the day winds down. He’s the dog who will happily explore the outdoors with you and then curl up close afterward like, “We did good today.” 🐾 Why Everyone Falls for Artic: • Excellent with other dogs — friendly, easygoing, and social • Walks beautifully on or off leash, naturally staying close (no wandering, no drama) • Loves the water — splashing, wading, and cooling off like a true nature pup • Affectionate and gentle, with a calm presence that just feels good to be around • Playful without being overwhelming, snuggly without being needy At the ranch, Artic’s favorite walks are the ones that head toward the river — where the pace slows, the water sparkles, and he gets to just be a happy dog. He’s not loud about his love, but it runs deep, and once you’re his person, you’re his whole world. Like his brother, Artic has spent far too much of his puppyhood in rescue, waiting patiently while life passed by. Despite that, he’s remained trusting, sweet, and hopeful — and now it’s time for him to finally experience the joy of a family, a home, and a forever spot on the couch. Artic would thrive with an outdoorsy person or family who values companionship, quiet loyalty, and shared adventures followed by cozy evenings in. If you’re looking for a dog who will choose you every single day — without hesitation… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Artic is ready to go home. 🐾❄️

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Brody – a 5 year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect mix of playful energy and easygoing charm. Currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS, Brody is ready to transport out of state once his forever family is approved. Brody is that rare, wonderful balance of being active enough to enjoy outdoor adventures and mellow enough to fully embrace a lazy day of Netflix and cuddles. Whether he’s chasing a toy in the backyard or melting into your side with his signature tongue-out smile, Brody is the definition of a lovable goofball. He doesn’t mind getting dressed up for holidays or themed events—he’s happy to strut in his rodeo best or festive costume, just as long as he’s doing it with his people. Brody has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and tends to prefer a more relaxed playmate. Because of his size and love for running, he may be a bit much for smaller or more timid dogs, but he’s also fully content being your one-and-only pup, as long as he has space to stretch his legs and get some zoomies out in the yard. A home with a secure backyard is ideal for him to enjoy some off-leash play. He’s a gentle sweetheart with people—always happy to meet new faces and has done well with the children he’s met. Because of his playful energy, we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8–10+) who are steady on their feet and understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody would love nothing more than a buddy to play with, run around the yard, and then wind down with for snuggles. No cats for Brody, please, as he’s not quite sure how to share space with feline friends. When it comes to leash manners, Brody is a total gentleman. He walks calmly on a loose leash, stays close by, and enjoys a good stroll. He’s also fully housebroken and crate trained, and does wonderfully in his crate when left unsupervised, especially since he currently shares a home with other dogs. He loves his plush toys—especially giving their faces a little “customization” with his enthusiastic chomps! Brody is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. He thrives in a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement. His foster mom has put in great work helping him polish his obedience skills, and he’s made huge progress! While he may still get a little excited around assertive male dogs, with calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s continued to show how well he can adapt. He would be a great match for someone with experience with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or other intelligent working breeds. These dogs are deeply loyal, affectionate, and thrive when they have a purpose—whether that’s going on a hike, learning a new trick, or just being your loyal shadow. Brody doesn’t need a super active lifestyle, but he would love a couple of daily walks, light adventure time, and maybe a fun activity like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes to keep his mind sharp and his bond with you strong. At the end of the day, Brody is a happy, affectionate, low-maintenance boy who’s easy to please. All he wants is a soft bed, a few toys, a cozy home, and someone to love him. He’s come so far during his time in foster care and is more than ready to start his next chapter with a family who sees how truly special he is. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💙🌊 Meet Glacier — Your Loyal Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold 🌊💙 (11 Months • 50 lbs • Male • Professional Best Friend) Some dogs are fun. Some dogs are sweet. And then there’s Glacier — the kind of dog who makes you stop and think, “How has he been waiting this long?” At just 11 months old and 50 pounds, Glacier is that magical in-between size: big enough for real adventures, small enough to fit perfectly into your life (and your lap… he tries). He’s playful without being wild, affectionate without being clingy, and calm enough to settle in for end-of-day snuggles like a total pro. 🐾 Glacier’s Greatest Hits: • Fantastic with other dogs — friendly, respectful, and social • Walks beautifully on or off leash, always checking in and staying close to his person • Loves the water — rivers, splashes, wading like a happy little otter • Playful during the day, snuggly and chill at night (the best combo) • Deeply affectionate — the kind that leans into you like you’re his safe place His favorite walks at the ranch? Heading down to the river, where he can explore, splash, and soak up life at his own peaceful pace. Glacier doesn’t need chaos to be happy — he just wants his person, a little adventure, and a lot of love. What really tugs at the heartstrings is that Glacier has spent far too much of his puppyhood in rescue. While he’s stayed gentle, trusting, and joyful, it’s time he finally gets to know what it means to belong — a couch that’s his, people who are his, and a life that’s more than just waiting. He would be an absolute dream for an outdoorsy person or family — someone who loves walks, nature, water, and coming home to a dog who’s equally excited to cuddle up and call it a day. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will walk beside you, splash beside you, and snuggle beside you — always staying close… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Glacier is more than ready to be someone’s forever. 🐾💙

Meet Louie -- medium in size but big in sparkle. He is a black and white beauty that does well with other dogs but he is not a fan of cats. Louie has perky ears, a striking speckled neck ruff and possesses a calm energy. Louie might take a bit of time to get to know his new family but once that happens, he will show you how wonderful he really is. He is one of those dogs who is equally up for exploring the trail and snuggling on the couch. He will bring his affectionate and grounded energy to whatever is on the agenda -- he just needs a bit of time to get to know his new family.  Louie is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh.
