We haven't come to this decision lightly, but we are looking to rehome our dog Cain. He is a 1.5 year old australian cattle dog mix. He is crate trained, house broken, and very affectionate. Unfortunately we do not have the financial resources or lifestyle to help him succeed and be comfortable. Cain is leash reactive and, we belive, barrier aggressive. He's done well playing one-on-one with a family member's malinois and with two off leash standard poodles. But when around other dogs on leash he is reactive. We have tried hiring a trainer to work with and it did him some good but he needs more attentive and professional training. Ultimately, we think that his behavior is anxiety induced due to understimulation and the environment we live in. We believe he would thrive in a household with no young children or cats, and with a large backyard and lots of physical activity. He is very easily trained and extremely food motivated. We love this dog and have had him since he was three months

Our handsome guy is looking for a new adventure! He’s almost 4 years old, full of energy, and loves hikes, runs, and splashing around at the water’s edge. Mamba’s done great living with both dogs and cats. He loved playing with our old roommates’ pitt, but was gentle with our kitten. With our work schedules getting busier and a move to a smaller apartment coming up, we know he would thrive in a home with more time and space to enjoy life. We’re hoping to find him an awesome family who can give him all the love and activity he deserves. Mamba loves doing tricks as long as treats are involved and is quick to pick up on new ones, right now he is good at sit, stand, lay, paw, and spin!!
