Story
The days are long, the nights are cold, and I do not recommend spending them alone! My name is Rosey, and I'm a sweet and slightly shy 7-month-old cattle dog mix who has the ability to make any day - or night - 100 percent more enjoyable with my delightful personality and generous snuggles. I am potty trained, crate trained, and pretty great on a leash! I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperament. In fact, I have yet to meet a pup that I cannot persuade to be my friend and even play with me. Actually, this probably goes for humans, too. I LOVE people - young and old - and while I can be shy at first, I'm snuggling in your arms or climbing on your lap in just a few minutes. I weigh about 35 pounds, and I have been in basic training classes, and I'm proving to be as intelligent as I am adorable. I love to go on walks and learn new things. I am too playful for most cats, although I get along fine with the dog-savvy cat living in my foster home. I love to chase and wrestle and if I can't find a playmate, I entertain myself with anything from a squeaky toy to an old stick. I have enough energy to keep you company on walks, hikes and other adventures, but I'm not hyper or overwhelming - at all. In fact, I have a very gentle demeanor and I think that's what allows me to get along with so many different types of dogs. I did sustain an eye injury when I was just a tiny pup. A horse kicked me, and I ended up losing my eye a couple of months ago. But, honestly, it doesn't seem to affect me at all.
