Story
Presenting the "Game of Bones Puppies" litter! Picture a pack of adorable pups, each with the heart of a direwolf and the loyalty of a sworn sword. From the mighty "Hound" who guards the food bowl with unwavering dedication to the graceful "Lady Stark" who commands attention with every elegant stride, these pups will steal your heart faster than you can say "Valar Morghulis." With tails wagging like banners on the battlefield, they'll embark on epic quests for treats and belly rubs, ensuring that the realm of your home is forever blessed with joy and wagging tails. Winter may be coming, but with these fluffy guardians by your side, you'll always be snug and safe in their furry embrace. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2059377##

REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Andy is an inside dog that is good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. He’s 90% house trained and still needs some work walking well on the leash. He knows the sit command and is a friendly puppy. He has never lived with children, but could so if they are respectful children. He previously lived with another dog and they got along well. He did not do well around the chickens in his previous home. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Andy is a sweetheart! He would do best in a home that has a yard due to his high energy level and breed. Being a herding breed dog, he may try to herd smaller children. He is a staff favorite here at the shelter!Weighs 25 pounds; $50 to adopt.

OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Rowan is shy here at the shelter and appreciates a gentle approach when meeting new people. Once he gets to know you, he will lounge by your side. He loves sniffing around and is treat-motivated and gentle when taking from your hand. Rowan tomes off as low-to-medium energy here at the shelter, but once out of this environment, he will most likely become livelier. Rowan appears neutral toward the other dogs and cats here at the shelter. A meet and greet is easily available to anyone with a furry friend interested in adopting. No appointment needed; stop by anytime we are open! Weighs 43 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
Pauly is a sweetheart! He is in a very cute puppy stage but is also very behaviorally mature. He is very calm and quiet. He is almost totally house trained, and does well so long as he can get a short walk morning and evening—just being out outside is not always enough for him, as he’ll sometimes wait to come back in rather than focus on his business. He is not food aggressive and will sit to wait for his bowl if asked. He does really well with small children—he loves to snuggle and play and is very gentle, he lets the three year old feed him without issue. Pauly is desperate to be friends with any other dog he meets and is very curious and friendly. He hasn’t interacted with many cats but he did meet a barn cat at my parents house—he didn’t really know what to do about it. Definitely not aggressive though! Pauly can sometimes be nervous about leaving home, especially getting in the car, but is fine once he has arrived at his destination. We are enjoying some basic obedience training and so far he will come, sit, and lie down for a treat. We have not tried him in a crate (ours isn’t currently functional) but our children have accidentally closed him in rooms and he’s not a fan of that, he’s made sure he’s let out very quickly. He does do well with a baby gate. Like most puppies he is an enthusiastic chewer but focuses on his chew toys, now that he has them. He loves walks and does well on leash! He does feel nervous around new people, maybe particularly men, but he is so cuddly and loving once he trusts you. Pauly is a gorgeous dog and would make a great addition to any home!
