He has lived a suburban life, but it's not stimulating enough. He is house- and crate -trained. He has a bite history in which he was cornered by a strange child at his house. Griz can live with other dogs and ignores cats. He does not do well with small livestock (chickens, rabbits).

At 14 years young, Buster is a handsome Red Heeler mix with a gentle, easygoing personality and plenty of love and adventures left to share. He is affectionate and loyal, enjoys spending time with his people, and is equally happy relaxing independently at home.Buster is crate trained and about 90% housebroken, comfortably handling a typical workday schedule. He loves treats and is eager to please, making him an easy companion. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys walks, hikes, and exploring—up to two 2–3 mile outings a day—while still being happy to relax afterward.Buster does have some arthritis and takes medication to keep him comfortable. He needs a ramp to get in and out of the car, but once his paws hit the ground, he is ready to go! He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. He has also been comfortable around cats while out on walks, although we are still learning how he would do living with one.Buster can be trusted off leash in safe, appropriate areas once he has built a strong bond with his family. He is nervous during thunderstorms and fireworks, so he will need to be kept safely indoors during those times.Buster may be a senior, but he still has a wonderful balance of curiosity, companionship, independence, and adventure. He is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy comfortable days, good walks, cozy downtime, and all the love he deserves. â¤ï¸Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. She's a true mixed breed, possibly with a little Cattle Dog and Jack Russell Terrier in the mix (DNA results pending!). Maggie was found as a stray but is quickly adjusting to the good life and learning the rules of being inside a home. She's a happy, bouncy girl who responds well to redirection and has already discovered that sitting politely is an excellent way to earn treats. She's doing wonderfully in her crate, happily relaxing there during the day and sleeping quietly through the night. One of Maggie's favorite things is playing with the resident dogs in her foster home. She's a fast runner and an enthusiastic, rough-and-tumble player who would love a playful canine friend who can keep up with her. A securely fenced yard where she can run and romp would be a dream! As much as Maggie loves to play, she's also a total snuggle bug. She warms up quickly to new people, and after a quick introduction, she's more than happy to climb right into your lap for her signature Maggie snuggles. Kip is a five year old golden/aussie mix. He is a friendly, adventurous, and out going dog. He's never met a dog, person, cat, or living creature he didn't like. He loves to wrestle in the yard with Maple, and throw himself into any body of water he can find. He's a big cuddler and believes himself to be a lap dog. Kip will make you play fetch with him until your arm falls off! Maple is Kips favorite playmate and his partner in crime. He is house and kennel trained. Kip and Maple are a bonded pair and we would like to keep them together if possible. The adoption fee is for both of them and includes their kennels, bowls, toys, and leashes and collars.
