Julio was found as a 6 week old puppy on the roadside. He has been a perfect gentleman in the house and has been raised by the old timers and seniors who have taught him proper manners. He loves to play with Bruce and Lulu, has learned to play in the kiddy pools, and is fully house trained. He is mixed with shepherd, hound, red heeler best guess. He likes some snuggles, sleeps under the bed or the coffee table. he's quiet and overall just the best puppy ever. he will make a great family dog. apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. HI - I'M TARZAN, and I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I was so scared and shy. While there, I had kennel mates, and I've done well with other dogs. I'm still shy, but am a work in progress. I'm starting to come out of my shell, and I can be petted now. I need a quiet home with a patient person or people who can give me a sense of security and the love and affection I so deserve. I'm very young and have my whole life ahead of me. HI - I'M PACO! I'm a sweet heeler mix rescued from the streets of Mexico. I was shy at first but warmed up quickly and has blended in super well with the other dogs I'm also affectionate, happy and I love nothing more than to snuggle, play and hang out with my human(s)! I'm also fully housetrained. I'm pretty easygoing but I get excited when you give me attention. I'm great with other dogs, too, and I only weigh about 40 lbs. Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Story
Kobe is a great dog and loves our family. We just do not have time for an Aussie due to kids sports and soon to be going away to college. His behavior is erratic and is a very nervous dog. He does not like some of our company but love on others. If he's comfortable with you he will show great love and care. Because our boys do not have the time to tend to him as he required he gets into trouble and digs under our fence to get to our neighbors dogs which he just plays with. He will need an owner that will take the time to train him properly and is able to give him a lot of time. He was born on a farm in Montana and then brought to our neck of the woods. He loves wrangling cows on adjacent farm We picked him up as a puppy but were finding out he requires much more time than we have. We love him dearly but its not fair to him with our schedules. Please consider Kobe if you meet these specifications. We are not in a rush to get rid of him and will want to make sure he goes to a good home.
