Story
I got Hope back in October unexpectedly since a friend of mine rescued her and I was very unaware of her history. From what I've been told she was abused and picked on from the other dogs. I've been doing the best that I can with her and don't have the money to hire a professional trainer. Here is a little bit about her, she's super sweet & cuddly but due to her past she's very wary of people. We would have to set up multiple meets up to ensure she feels comfortable with you because of that. Very smart and a quick learner, could potentially be a work dog with the correct training. She is high energy and a Velcro dog, she wants to be wherever you are at. Some of the issues I've been having is resource guarding, destroying items in the house, she doesn't know her boundaries with other dogs. I don't have a stable living situation and I can't give her what she needs. I do require to have a house and back yard, she can run around in. If you are interested please let me know thank you

Story
Meet Kira — our beautiful one-eyed girl with a whole lot of heart Kira is a 5-year-old female Cattle Dog mix weighing about 48 lbs. She’s spayed, vaccinated, heartworm-negative, and ready for her forever home. Why we love Kira Calm, steady, and low-to-medium energy Great with other dogs (no resource guarding!) Quiet, crate-trained, leash-trained, and potty-trained Loyal, intelligent, and deeply bonded to her people Confident and well-mannered with vets and caretakers Kira enjoys playing with other dogs but also loves taking time to herself to rest or explore. True to her cattle dog roots, she’s smart, curious, and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. Ideal homeKira would thrive with an active adult or family with older kids who can offer structure, companionship, and regular exercise. She bonds closely with her person and is a classic “shadow dog” — happiest hiking, jogging, or simply sharing daily life together. A secure home with space to roam would be perfect. Her storyKira was found roaming the streets near Guadalajara with serious injuries to her eye. She trusted the right human, followed her to safety, and underwent surgery to remove her eye and end her pain. Since then, Kira has healed beautifully — physically and emotionally — showing incredible resilience and grace. Currently in Mexico, waiting for adoption Adoption Fee: $600 Apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org Kira may have lost an eye, but she hasn’t lost her sparkle — or her ability to love deeply. Location: Mexico (waiting for a 10-day trial commitment)Adoption Fee: $600Apply at: www.northwestwagrescue.org ##1773544##

She and her two siblings were found abandoned on a little-traveled road, inside a trash bag—emaciated and suffering from mange. Despite everything she endured, Gala’s spirit never dimmed. With proper care, patience, and love, she has blossomed into the happy, affectionate, and adventurous dog she is today. Gala is currently waiting in Mexico for a committed foster or trial home. Story
Meet Bogart! 🐾 Bogart is a 4-month-old cattle dog mix from Okanogan who is currently thriving in his foster home and learning all about life as a beloved family dog. Like many smart, energetic pups his age, Bogart is full of personality and classic puppy antics—chewing on things he shouldn’t, bouncing around with excitement, and occasionally getting a little nippy when he’s feeling playful. 😂 He’s also still getting used to being left in his kennel during the day, but he’s making progress as he learns that his people always come back. Right now Bogart is busy learning the house rules, and he’s already showing what a smart, eager-to-please boy he is. He has great recall and already knows how to sit on command, which is pretty impressive for such a young pup! Bogart would do wonderfully with a family that’s excited to continue his training, give him lots of playtime and enrichment, and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s clearly meant to be. With his intelligence, enthusiasm, and sweet personality, his future family is going to fall completely in love. What a truly GOOD DOG he is! ❤️

Story
Meet Sabaka 🐾 Sabaka is a 3-year-old Cattle Dog/Pittie mix with the perfect blend of brains, loyalty, and playful charm. Originally from Okanogan, he’s now ready to find a forever home that will appreciate everything this handsome boy has to offer. Sabaka is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, so he’s all set to start his next chapter. He’s at that wonderful age where he’s past the wild puppy phase but still full of energy and personality. With his cattle dog smarts and pittie devotion, he’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his people and love being part of the action. He would thrive in a home that can give him structure, continued enrichment, and daily activity. Whether it’s hikes, playtime, or learning new tricks, Sabaka is ready to be your loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for a fun, intelligent, and loving companion, Sabaka might just be your guy. Apply to meet him and see if he’s your perfect match! 🖤
