Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA SARGE is a wonderful, mature dog. He is 6 yrs old. We are guessing at his breeds seeing as how he has some color markings of the Blue Heeler (not the actual color) and shorter legs than would be expected so we think maybe Beagle. He is 40-45# but not very tall...he's stocky. Sarge is calm, happy, LOVES attention (loves to be scratched). He is seriously one of the best dogs ever! He is very quiet and super wonderful, potty trained, so respectful of people and other pets, knowing when to give you space, but smart like an amazing 'old soul.' He enjoys stuffed toys but isn't real good at fetching. He has been potty trained in his foster home in Tumwater, WA. In TX there were two cats there to meet him. He was interested but the cats did not get up to run and he ignored them after he sniffed a little. One of them took a swing at him and he backed off fast. Sarge is real easy on leash. Sarge is a really REALLY great dog for a couple or single person to go on walks and play on the beach. Has energy but not demanding. He takes treats super SUPER gently! He appears to be able to be loose unattended, at least in Tumwater has never done anything you would not want him to do! Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. These pups are cute, cute, cute!!! They are very playful and happy. There is a litter of 4 of which the Daddy a purebred Blue Heeler. Mom is just a brown mutt. They were born on 1/24/2024. They are going to be medium-sized dog when grown… 30-45#s. This pup is GRETEL...the only female. The other 3 pups are boys - GUCCI, GULLIVER, and GUMBALL. These will be great family dogs. The smart Blue Heeler (aka Australian Cattle Dog) has the brains to be good dogs on the ranch but it does require training. Heelers are active dogs and need to have lots of attention and love. They are known for their “heeling” capability and will herd anything available to include children. On man told the story of watching his Heeler herding his kid and the neighbor kids away from the forbidden gorge and back to the house. Heelers are known for being great Frisbee catchers and they love water. They are not yet house trained. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Story
This little man may be the runt of the litter but he is anything but small in personality. He can hold his own wrestling his bigger siblings and doesn’t get bossed around because of his size. He is a sweet  cuddler, very calm when you are petting or showing him love. Lupin is full of energy and loves his tiny tennis ball, and although he hasn’t mastered the game of fetch yet he has excellent potential. Lupin was dumped on a ranch with his three siblings. They have since be rescued and are getting the medical care they need. They will be ready for adoption come the beginning of May. Please note that the adopter will be responsible for finishing out his vaccinations and getting his neuter surgery completed. However, he thinks that if it means you and her can be together sooner, then that is worth it. He would do best with someone that wants the best of both worlds, energetic games of fetch and sweet cuddles.. Submit an inquiry if you have any questions or go ahead and fill out an application for this sweetheart.

Story
This inquisitive guy is full of energy. He has an adventurous spirit and is always racing around investigating new things. He loves anything that squeaks toys, tennis balls, and stuffed animals.  He has a sweet side but cuddles only last so long when there is a whole world out there to explore. Moody has learned the joy of belly rubs and head scratches and will take a time out when you show him some love. Moody was dumped on a ranch with his three siblings. They have since be rescued and are getting the medical care they need. They will be ready for adoption come the beginning of May. He would do well with an outdoorsy person interested in a fun and active dog. Smart and adventurous would make him the perfect companion for any outdoors adventure seeker. Please note that the adopter will be responsible for finishing out his vaccinations and getting his neuter surgery completed. However, he thinks that if it means you and her can be together sooner, then that is worth it.
