Story
OTTIS's Story Est. DOB: 12/29/2024 Weight: 42lbs Adoption fee: $350 Ottis is a friendly, playful boy who is always ready for his next adventure. He does great with kids and gets along well with other friendly dogs and animals—he truly seems to love everyone he meets. Ottis listens quickly when you call his name and is eager to please, especially when praise or cuddles are involved. This sweet, energetic pup would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or with an active person or family committed to daily walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures. Ottis absolutely loves being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up all the attention he can get. When playtime is over, he turns into a total cuddle bug who just wants to relax and be close to his people. Ottis can climb cyclone fencing, so he will need a secure wood fence or to be exercised on leash at all times. With the right setup, he will make a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s always ready to go—and always happy to snuggle afterward. If you’re looking for an energetic adventure buddy with a heart full of love, Ottis is your guy. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Story
HANK's Story Est. DOB: 04/22/2022 Adoption fee: $259 Meet Hank – A Brave Soul Looking for His Healing Home Hank is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog with a tender spirit and a heart that’s ready to learn what love truly feels like. Born into a boarding kennel with very little human interaction, Hank spent his early life surrounded by many dogs but without the comfort of blankets, toys, treats, or consistent people who cared for him. Because of this, he missed out on the socialization and stability that every dog deserves. Today, Hank is a sensitive and nervous boy—especially around new people. But beneath that fear is a dog who wants to trust, who watches quietly, who tries hard, and who blossoms in small ways when treated with patience and kindness. Once he knows you, he enjoys gentle pets and showing you his zoomies in the yard. Hank needs a very special adopter: -Someone experienced with fearful or under socialized dogs -A quiet, child-free home with very limited chaos -People who are home often and willing to go at Hank’s pace -A commitment to exclusively positive reinforcement -A promise to celebrate the tiny victories along the way For the right person, Hank will be an incredibly rewarding companion. His adoption will include training support to help set both him and his new family up for success. Hank may never be the kind of dog who wants to go everywhere or meet everyone—but he has the potential to become a loyal, trusting friend to someone patient enough to guide him. If you have the heart, the experience, and the time to help a dog heal from a rough beginning, Hank is waiting for you.

Story
We adopted him from an abused shelter and he became our favorite pet and companion and became our ESA. He is a very loyal guard dog who will attack anybody who comes near you or your property. Unfortunately, because he was trained to be a guard dog, he has issues with strangers, especially larger males, and he takes some time to adapt. He seems to do much better with women. He fairs well as an outside dog and has a thick coat, as long as there is a small heaterHis instincts are to herd, and kill anything that is a threat to a farm, including coyotes and even mice. Because he is a wolf breed, and young, he is always trying to find his place in the “pack”, which doesn’t mix well with young children. I wouldn’t adopt him unless your children are 12 or older. We are trying to have a child, and we just don’t think he will be suited for us. We recommend a good space to run and play. He is hyper, loving, loyal and trained. We will travel to help assimilate him.
