Story
We adopted him from an abused shelter and he became our favorite pet and companion and became our ESA. He is a very loyal guard dog who will attack anybody who comes near you or your property. Unfortunately, because he was trained to be a guard dog, he has issues with strangers, especially larger males, and he takes some time to adapt. He seems to do much better with women. He fairs well as an outside dog and has a thick coat, as long as there is a small heaterHis instincts are to herd, and kill anything that is a threat to a farm, including coyotes and even mice. Because he is a wolf breed, and young, he is always trying to find his place in the “pack”, which doesn’t mix well with young children. I wouldn’t adopt him unless your children are 12 or older. We are trying to have a child, and we just don’t think he will be suited for us. We recommend a good space to run and play. He is hyper, loving, loyal and trained. We will travel to help assimilate him.

Story
**Meet Zeus – the parvo-fighting cattle dog hero who’s ready to thunder into your heart!** This dapper cattle dog mix with the flashiest white socks you’ve ever seen is a true Okanogan County survivor – he beat parvo like a boss and came out stronger! Zeus is dog-friendly, sleeps like an angel in his crate overnight, and will top out at a perfect under-40-lb size of loyal love. He missed some early puppy parties, so he starts a bit timid (think shy superhero in disguise), but win him over and he’s smitten – full-on velcro cuddles and tail-wags for days! Zeus is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed – ready to bolt from foster to forever. If you’re ready to be the human who claims this sock-wearing survivor’s undying devotion, Zeus is waiting to zap away your lonely nights. One belly rub and he’ll be your thunder buddy for life! 🐾⚡

Story
Vulpix or otherwise Pixie is a super sweet and loving dog. She is very affectionate and cuddles right up to you on your lap. She is high energy and loves to run around! Loving her walks and the dog park meeting others dogs. But her favorite thing to do is give you a big hug. Her ideal home would be somewhere with space for her to run around, so she would be best in a home with a yard. She would benefit from having other dogs to play with but has done well just living with our cat. Pixie is very smart and learns quickly. We have house trained, crate trained her and taught her some basic commands. However, before we adopted Pixie, she suffered from neglect/abuse as she was abandoned with her litter of puppies when she was found. Due to this she does have some behavioral issues, struggling with some separation anxiety and some slight aggression towards strangers/other dogs when on a walk. However, with the proper love, care, and training, Pixie will be the most loyal and loving companion
