WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Hello there, my name's Sullivan, though my friends call me Sully! I'm an intelligent little furball looking for a loving family and a forever home. I learn really quickly and I've mastered the basics, including getting used to a leash, a kennel, and being housebroken. I'm a real fan of playing with my furry pals, frolicking in water, and indulging in delectable treats. I'm quite a social nugget with a love for being with my hooman— whether it's an exciting adventure, a refreshing hike, a quiet day by the river, or simply unwinding with the fam. I dream of a spacious backyard where I can zip around to my heart's content when the zoomies strike. Be warned: my irresistible puppy eyes and charming smile are sure to make you fall head over heels in no time. Let's become best buddies! Sullivan is around 8 months old and weighs about 32lbs. He is a Kelpie/German Shepherd Mix (our best guess). Sullivan is dog and cat friendly. He is updated on all his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He is currently on flea and heartworm preventative.

These pups are in Golden Valley, Minnesota too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Hello, my name is Quoll! I’m a precious and quiet male Australian Shepherd mix puppy who is playful and full of puppy energy! Hee, hee!! I love playing catch with my toys & tug-o-war with my resident fur sibs, saying hello to the strangers outside, getting belly scratches, cozying up in some blankets and/or on the couch, and snuggling with my people! I’m good with kids & cats and I’m a smart boy who not only knows commands like “down”, “sit”, “stay”, “wait”, and “outside” but I’m crate, leash, & potty trained too. Having said that, I must admit that I “submissive pee” and although it’s not something I’m proud of I am still a puppy who’s improving every day so hopefully as I get older, I will grow out of it! Anyway, I am the sweetest boy ever and all I need now is YOU…a patient, unconditionally loving fur-ever family that will NEVER give up on me. I promise I’m totally worth it and if you will welcome me into your world, I assure you that not only will I make your life a LOT better, but I will fill a void I bet you never even knew existed! Love & cuddles, Quoll *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters.  Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter.  Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized.  If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses.  Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.  Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a   particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.       This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.    We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion. Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  DOB: 10/08/2016 Requires another dog in home: No Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Yes Weight: 32 lbs Requires a fenced yard: No, but needs daily exercise Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello, I’m Barbie, a stunning, friendly, and VERY fun adult female Cattle Dog who has not met any cats but I’m good with kids and other dogs. I have a LOT of energy and am always on-the-go, go, go! My favorite activity is fetching…in fact, ball is my life (hee, hee) so foster mom bought me an automatic ball thrower which is AWESOME…I’m gonna have that thing mastered in no time!! Anyway, I also enjoy chewing on bones & bully sticks, playing with my squeaky toys, shadowing my people, and going on leashed walks/runs/hikes around the neighborhood so I can say “Hello” to all my new two- and four-legged friends. What don’t I like you ask?? Well, I’m not crazy about the kennel/crate and will bark for a bit when I’m in there but above all else, I do NOT like car rides! If it were up to me, I’d avoid the car completely but foster mom…the wonderful lady that she is…is trying to help me overcome my aversion by taking me in the car more. How do I feel about that you ask…let me just say that when we’re in that death trap (LOL) I constantly bark to let her know in no uncertain terms that I am NOT thrilled or amused by her sneaky tactics! Hee, hee!! Oh well, I’m a smart girl who knows what “sit” means and I’ve almost conquered potty training, so I suppose it’s possible for me conquer the car too…we’ll see! In the end, I am the happiest girl in the world with an ever-present smile on my beautiful face…all I need now is YOU! I’m looking for a patient, unconditionally loving, and very active family that will NEVER give up on me. I promise not only will we have SO much fun together, but we will make the most amazing memories EVER and I will completely brighten up your world! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hello there, I'm Harper, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself! I might be a bit shy at first, especially with new people, but once I get to know you, I'm the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. I thrive in the comfort of home, feeling most at ease when I'm cuddled up next to my favorite humans. I have a few favorite things in life. Treats are definitely at the top of my list - I can never resist a tasty snack! I also enjoy getting lots of pets and sitting right next to my humans, feeling the warmth of their presence. As for toys, I'm not too picky, but I do love a good belly rub! There's something about a gentle belly rub that makes me feel incredibly content. Now, there are a couple of things you should know about me. I might not be a big fan of commotion and loud noises, but who can blame me? I'm also in the process of learning some new commands, so I'm a work in progress. When it comes to other dogs, I get along just fine with all sizes, and I would thrive in a home with another dog to help me gain confidence. Oh, and here's a fun fact: I'm not much of a barker. As for my manners around cats, you don't have to worry - I'm always respectful. I've been working hard on my leash training, and I'm getting better at it every day. While I might not be fully potty trained just yet, I'm very close, especially when I'm on a good schedule. So, if you're looking for a sweet and cute companion who loves couch cuddles, tummy rubs, and the occasional treat, I might just be the perfect match for you. I am working hard at coming out of my shell and can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love and affection with my new family! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared.  Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses .   Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.   Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans.
